Thrive on Crawford is The NRP Group's first "Health and Housing" partnership in the state of Texas, developed in partnership with JPS Health Network. This community will bring 60 affordable and seven market rate units adjacent to a key site in JPS Health Network's expanded campus to enhance health care services for residents and provide quality housing options near a major Tarrant County employer. "The vision was to partner with JPS Health Network to look at these non-traditional housing partnerships to understand how we can provide more than just affordable housing through additional essential services and access to health care," said Vice President of Development Max Whipple. We are fortunate to work with dedicated partners to bring this development to life: CVS Health, REDSTONE EQUITY PARTNERS LLC, Community Housing Resource Partners, JPMorganChase Watch the full video from our groundbreaking celebration below:

Have you ever stepped into City Hall? Most people are intimidated by the idea of heading into their city or county center when they want to enact some kind of change. This is one of the critical aspects of a healthy city initiative. It gives community members -- especially those in unincorporated or more rural areas -- a place to come together to support one another and discuss the things that are really important to them. The locus created by a healthy city initiative provides a foothold and an anchor that lets people get involved and feel more comfortable in doing so. They learn that they are not alone in wanting to see things done differently, and they find like-minded people willing to do the work with them to see the change happen. Without a central point to gather -- something that is reality for so much of our enormous region -- people feel isolated and alone. Healthy city initiatives serve to bring them together. And when people feel connected, good things happen. #HealthyCityInitiative #CommunityEmpowerment #CivicEngagement

The fact that people are struggling to put food on the table is a failure of our economic system, a crisis: we need fundamental systemic change. People, and especially people who have been marginalized by our current systems are rolling up their sleeves to create alternatives, to build community and to contribute to defining what an equitable system might look like. Check out this short clip about East Scarborough Storefront and how they use the Connected Community Approach to create social infrastructure that supports the autonomy, agency and creativity of people determined to be part of the solution and making a difference on their own terms. https://lnkd.in/gKSytfY3

"There are families in this area where I had probably assessed the parents when they were kids. It just goes round and round. And we’re trying to break that cycle." What if public services collaborated to serve their communities? Cradle to Career created a multidisciplinary team at Wirral Council to work together towards the community's goals - based together in a local centre. It's meant faster interventions, more trust and better outcomes. Its success could form the model for a revival of Total Place-style place-based budgets. 🚶♀️🚴♂️ Building Just Streets needs collaboration from all levels! 🌟 Implementing Just Streets isn’t just about policies or infrastructure—it’s about creating vibrant, inclusive, and people-centered communities. And to make this vision a reality, we need everyone on board—from the grassroots to the leadership at the top. That’s why it’s incredibly inspiring to see the Mayor of one of our pilot cities, Cugir, Adrian Teban, leading the charge! 💪 Recently, the Mayor took to the city’s social media platforms, together with the newly appointed facilitator Adrian Fratila to personally highlight the Just Streets project and encourage residents to embrace active mobility. 🚶♀️🚴 This kind of leadership sets a powerful example, showing that transformation happens when leaders and citizens work together. The Mayor’s enthusiasm makes it clear: this isn’t just a city initiative—it’s a community movement! 🌍✨ Let’s celebrate this milestone and take inspiration from Cugir. Together, we can create streets that prioritize people over cars, foster healthier lifestyles, and build stronger connections between us all. 📣 What role do you think leadership plays in building sustainable cities? Leave us your ideas in the comments. #SustainableCities #ActiveMobility #LeadershipInAction #JustStreets #UrbanTransformation Sources https://lnkd.in/gvh89nT2

🚄 Exciting Times for Young Professionals in Downtown Boca! 🌟 Big news incoming! Officials are expected to move forward with a $1.9 billion development project that will transform the area around the Brightline station into a vibrant mix of government, residential, and commercial spaces. As NewsBreak puts it, this project “would also include walkable commercial space and likely be intrinsically linked with transit – a major factor in the city’s appeal for YOUNG PROFESSIONALS and tech sector businesses.” For us, the young Jewish professional community, this is more than just a new development—it’s an opportunity to expand, think bigger, and grow together! Looking forward to how this will help us thrive as a community! 🌱💼 What kind of spaces or opportunities are you hoping to see in these new developments? Let’s talk about how we can make the most of this vibrant new community! #YoungProfessionals #JewishCommunity #BocaRaton #Innovation #RealEstateDevelopment #Networking
