I am a woman horror film and video game festival owner of Haunted House FearFest. My festival has been featured in major publications. I want to see more women game developers enter my festival. Here is a link to the Game Jam Page. If you decide to enter, submit your game to our itch.io website here and then submit to our film freeway page to qualify. A great read and so many challenges to tackle as a community. Amazing work :) I hope to build up our company to become a place to produce and provide equal opportunities in the gaming industry, as a woman in games and a founder.

I love this! Funnily enough was just thinking about women on VR. There are a few barriers to women such as heavy headsets and an already male dominated play arena. It would be great to get into this new gaming world and co-create it as a woman's space from the get go!

I don't think guys wanted to exclude ladies from gaming. In fact, we always wanted to see more of them. I look forward to seeing more ladies successful in the industry.

The most interesting thing I personally noticed is that women in gamedev are aprreciated just because they do a good job. And thus they naturally are more appreciated than men who don't. ;)
