HEARING is process where sound waves travel through your ear canal to your eardrum and cause it to vibrate. The vibrations travel from your eardrum to your ossicles (tiny bones in your middle ear). Your ossicles send the vibrations to your cochlea (a spiral cavity in your inner ear that’s lined with hair cells). The tiny hair cells vibrate and send messages to your auditory nerve (the nerve that connects your ears to your brain). Your brain receives this information and translates it into sound. In other words, your brain is where your sense of hearing comes to life.

Feelings are energy in motion, emotion. When you release the soft tissue with deep touch you are releasing the armor that is repressing the feelings. This can provoke the emotion that is held behind the armor. Tissue is not mindless, tissue is full of sensation, full of feelings and old memories. Fascia is rich with sensory nerves, in fact fascia has more sensory nerves than any other tissue in the body. So, as you release fascia you are waking up the body’s sensations. Helping your client drop down from their head into their body. Moving from the past into the present. Read the full blog post, write by Satyarthi, on our website: https://lnkd.in/dEydMme2

Matthew 7:3-5 ”And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye? Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.“

These movements might seem easy…or even boring…but they’re harder than they look and crucial for stabilizing your pelvis. ✨✨✨ So often, when people come to me with back pain, there’s a tiny misalignment in the pelvis when they move that’s causing most of their discomfort. Use these exercises to test your stability and discover where things are getting thrown off in your movement. ✨✨✨ 🤚🏻 Place your hands on your hip points to feel whether or not they are even during all of your movement. 💨 Use your breath to connect to your deep abdominals and try to keep your pelvis still as you move your legs and hips. ✨✨✨ This is a great way to feel things for yourself, but it’s always helpful to have a teacher who can tell you when things are out of alignment! Send me a message if you’re unsure about your stability, or have pain & discomfort and want to learn more. ✨✨✨ Or, head to https://lnkd.in/gN88UJsK to see my new offerings and services.

Using Scents to Boost Memory and Performance. Smells are particularly good at bringing back memories. This is because the parts of the brain where the smell is processed, and the parts responsible for processing emotion and memory are closely linked. Other sensory information, such as sight, sound and touch, are processed through the thalamus, like a switchboard, before they get to the memory section, but smells bypass that and go straight there. This is why a particular smell can trigger instant powerful memories. Find out how smell can help with your revision in our blog. https://lnkd.in/e6PN93in

This month's warm-up move is the Tandem Balance Arm Circle, which focuses on full body balance and proprioception. Performing this dual-task move stimulates the peripheral and central nervous system, reinforcing appropriate nerve signals and assisting in proper body mechanic firing patterns for daily movements. - Stand with one foot in front of the other and raise your arms straight in front of you, with palms together and thumbs up. - Keep one arm in place while you make a circle with the other arm, turning the trunk as well. - Follow your thumb with your eyes and head as your arm moves. - Repeat with the other arm, then switch foot position and repeat. #WarmUpWednesday #wellnesswednesday
