Congratulations to the USA Junior Hockey Team for winning the Junior World Cup! Their victory is a testament to the power of teamwork and the benefits of staying together as a cohesive unit. As someoen who loves teamsports (playing and wathcing), I understand the importance of playing with the same team for an extended period of time. The longer you play together, the more in sync you become with your teammates, and the easier it is to anticipate their next moves or compensate for each other's weaknesses. It's unfortunate that staying together as a team is rare in corporate America. Turnover rates are high, and companies often fail to meet their employees' needs or let them go without anticipating the value of having a stable team. Staying together as a team has tremendous value to the bottom line. Harvard Business Review highlighted one study found that increasing familiarity by 50% led to a 19% decrease in defects and a 30% decrease in deviations from the budget. This study also demonstrated that familiarity was a better predictor of performance than individual experience or project managers. Let's take a cue from the USA Junior Hockey Team and prioritize the importance of staying together as a team. The benefits of familiarity and cohesion can lead to improved success and performance in any organization. #teamwork #corporateculture #success #takeawalkonthewilderside PS: Congratulations to the Swedish Team. (I once played Hockey in Sweden). They had a tremendous game and had a great run in the tournament.

This is an insight into how you continue to build wonderful relationships, whether you officially work with people or not, Scott K. Wilder. Thanks for the inspiration! (I thought it was a throw-back photo to the 1980 USA Olympic Hockey Team. Such joy and achievement for both.) As a 2x national champion acrobat, with the same partner (my sister) for over 10 years, it is critical to be in-sync. You need great coaches/ leadership and a shared vision of success.
