The African wild dogs or African painted dogs have a colorful coat with patches of yellow, black, and white, giving them a unique and striking appearance. They live in packs with a well-defined social hierarchy. Each pack has an alpha pair that leads. Known for their cooperative hunting style, wild dogs work together to pursue and take down prey. They have a high success rate in hunting. They use vocalizations, including distinctive sounds such as twittering and chirping. African wild dogs are listed as endangered due to habitat loss, human-wildlife conflict, and diseases like canine distemper and rabies. We are actively working to protect and conserve African wild dogs, focusing on habitat preservation and community education. Join us in our conservation efforts as an intern, volunteer or researcher today! #DuniaConservation #jointhejourney #ConservationJourney #conservationinternship #conservationintern #DuniaConservation #duniaconservation #volunteerinkenya #VolunteerOpportunity #volunteerwithpurpose #volunteerinafrica #volunteer #internsforchange #internshipopportunity #interninkenya #Internship #conservationinternship #conservationintern #ConservationJourney #duniainternship #wilddogsconservation

I learned from this article that there are 2 main types of Veterinary Internships that you can take. There is rotating internship and the specialty internship. This article describes what each internship prepares you for and what they teach you. I learned that i am taking a rotating internship so i am learning the basics of being a Veterinarian and the basics of their jobs. I can apply multiple things from this article to my internship but i especially can apply the descriptions of each internship to mine.

Kenyan youth are some of the most well trained individuals on skill-set attainment on different programs at different well re-knowned institutions of higher learning in Kenya. Agriculture in Kenya, which contributes approximately 33% of Kenya's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and employs more than 40% of the total population and 70% of the rural population is one of the sectors in which the young people are trained on. (https://lnkd.in/ekAHr6qG) Kenyan graduates from the field of Animal Science, Animal Health, Livestock Production, Animal Husbandry and related subjects stand a chance of interning at major farms in Europe for international experience and global exposure. This is as a result of the existing partnership between Bixter.Training and BeCourse Group. The outstanding partnership has seen qualified graduates placed in different farms in Europe, including at the Netherlands and Romania for traineeship programs under the livestock production sector. Our desire, as a Kenyan company, is to build a society that is informed and aware of what is happening in other parts of the world, by directly having individuals live that very informed life and experience awareness through Learning By Doing. It is in so doing that new ideas, new technologies, new initiatives and new programs can be implemented back in Kenya. With qualified candidates who graduated from 2015, we call upon like-minded individuals, firms, placement agencies and organizations to reach out and support our course by placing our most qualified candidates in different farms internationally by contacting: partnerships@becourse.co.ke. #Opportunities #Agriculture #Internships #Apprenticeships #Programs

On Employee Appreciation Day, we celebrate those who bring the Aquarium to life. On any given day within our walls and beyond, you’ll find... ...someone greeting a first-time guest with a contagious smile and genuine excitement that they’ve chosen to visit our Aquarium. ...someone wiping handprints off of tank windows left behind by awestruck schoolchildren, so the next class sees a crystal clear view. ...someone sharing shark facts with a budding scientist who has always dreamed of seeing one in person. ...someone providing innovative medical care on an injured sea turtle, continuing a standard of exceptional and compassionate animal care. ...someone hand-building a new exhibit feature from scratch after conceptualization with their team. ...someone brainstorming the next phase of our guest experience with philanthropists eager to invest in meaningful programming for the masses. ...someone producing engaging content for our digital community, weaving our mission into educational entertainment for thousands. ...someone installing technology equipment at a desk soon-to-be-occupied by a brilliant intern, to learn and grow without restrictions. ...someone speaking to community leaders about the importance of citizen science, bringing conservation to the forefront. Our nearly 200 employees come together daily to fulfill various roles through collaborating, creating, curating and caring. We're grateful for each employee who shares their learned expertise and lived passion with each other, with our guests and with the world.
