I'm channeling a LinkedIn discussion I had with Lizzy the other day. She noted that the best client-vendor relationships include challenging each other. What I realized during our discussion is that the line between "challenge" and "argument/disrespect" is: 1. The client remembers that the vendor is the expert. 2. The vendor remembers that the client makes the final call. A great vendor knows its role in the relationship. That doesn't mean giving a mindless salute - but it does mean executing after giving one's professional opinion. #Clients #Vendors #Partners #Teams
