This morning, BNP Paribas delivered strong Q2 results, confirming a very solid financial trajectory on 2024. I am delighted to announce that the Investment & Protection Services businesses (IPS) contributed positively to this success: our revenues grew strongly (+3.0% vs. 2Q23, and even +6,5%, excluding Real Estate and Principal Investments) driven by very solid momentum in Insurance (+5.2%), Asset Management (+9.8%), and Wealth Management (+6.1%). On the cost side (+0,1%), we further demonstrated our disciplined cost control, with efficiency measures and savings offsetting targeted investments. Overall we generated a positive jaw effect (+2.9pts), and a solid RBT growth of +5% YoY. I would like to warmly thank the IPS teams and all our partners teams for the collective effort that made these good results possible. In a complex environment, they have demonstrated their agility and commitment: their efforts have borne fruit and helped further strengthen the confidence of our clients. Looking ahead, we will continue to roll out our GTS plan and our strategic initiatives, to steadily support Group’s delivery on financial targets and priorities.
