We are delighted to have successfully completed an EV install for BP Pulse near Liverpool. Working on a live site in such a restricted area calls for careful planning and being highly organised in the execution of works. The project was delivered safely, to the quality for which we are renown and on programme.

🚧 Delivering Safer, Smarter Solutions 🚧 Over the past few months, AM1 Projects has been hard at work installing, commissioning, and bringing into service Integrated Controlled Track Switches (iCTS) and also integrating Negative Short-Circuiting Devices (NSCD) into existing Controlled Track Switches (CTS) in the Wessex region. These upgrades at complex junctions are a game-changer, enhancing the conductor rail isolation process to: ✅ Maximise worksite working times ✅ Eliminate the need for isolation staff to access the track environment By prioritising efficiency and safety, we’re proud to contribute to a more streamlined and secure railway network. #RailInnovation #SafetyFirst #Efficiency #Infrastructure David Amos

📢 MISO Announces 2024 Regional Queue Caps Today, MISO revealed the expected queue cap per region for the upcoming 2024 cycle. The cap will be approximately 68 GW for the entire MISO region— about half of the volume seen in the 2023 cycle (~124 GW). 💡 A Quick Look Back: If these caps had been implemented in 2023, only 2 regions (West and East ATC) would have fallen below the newly announced regional caps. Other regions, like Central, which saw nearly 43.5 GW of requests in 2023, would have exceeded the cap by more than 2x. ⚠️ Act Now to Secure Your Spot! This announcement serves as a timely reminder: Submit your projects early to avoid being above the cap and maximize your chances of being processed as part of the 2024 MISO cluster. Need Support? If you need assistance with preparing complete and compliant applications or want to better understand how this cap might impact your project, reach out to me, Sam Bustillos, P.E., or anyone at Electric Power Engineers. We’re here to help you navigate this process!
