Taco Bell’s new ‘Name Your Price’ too is absolutely brilliant You can now enter the dollar amount you’d like to spend and then the app generates several mix-and-match menu items for you to choose from And if you don’t like the recommendation you can shuffle it up or save a few of the items and add different additions. This will unquestionably help with several things… 1️⃣ Getting consumers to spend more money. The numbers they include in the toggle are not random, they know exactly how to drive average order size up 2️⃣ This makes it much easier to order. Have you ever tried to pick something from the Taco Bell app? That menu is quite extensive 3️⃣Its straight up more fun. Gamifying anything is a smart move, and this feels like a little surprise. This is brilliant, especially in this environment in which lower income consumers are trading out of restaurants in favor of grocery stores: Taco Bell has launched a "Name Your Price" tool in its app, allowing consumers to control how much they want to spend. With the tool, consumers can set a dollar amount of what they want to spend, ranging from $5 to $25. The tool then randomizes menu items within that amount so consumers can understand all the options within their budget. Menu items can then be “pinned” into users’ carts and re-randomized to pull up different combinations within that desired price range. More: https://lnkd.in/e4D8s2wR
