Its Internships Season As we continue to navigate through the internship span of the year, the reality of unpaid internships remains a stark issue. I've come to realize that many firms continue to offer unpaid internships, especially during peak times like this period when students are in dire need of gaining experience and building their portfolios due to mandatory requirements of universities. Unpaid internships tend to exploit young professionals by not compensating them for their meaningful contributions and hard work. It's high time we address and reassess the ethical implications of unpaid internships. Let’s advocate for fair compensation for all interns to ensure everyone has an equal opportunity to kick-start their careers on the right foot.

Developing these habits will help you convert an internship to a PPO! Internships are not just about completing the work assigned rather, it is BEYOND! During internships, here are a few aspects that you must cover: 1. seeking an extension. 2. scheduling another month of internship with the same team/people. 3. showcasing your willingness to join the firm. 4. seeking feedback diligently and implementing them. 5. taking the initiative for work.
