When a business has growing skills gaps, recruiting internally to fill those gaps can be a consideration. But what do you do when you are the one person in your business, and there is no one else to lean on to fill in the bits you don't know? Reflect on your skills. What are your skills? What are your strengths? Where are you not as strong as needed? Assess the tools that you use. Assess the processes you have in place. In the short term, you have a couple of options. You can spend some time to upskill and close those gaps. You can outsource some of your workflow to a specialist. You can hire someone in-house to take on those tasks. What is one of your current gaps?
