#workfromanywhere isn’t just a hashtag to flood LinkedIn but rather a core part of the #podean culture. Yes, there are a lot of posts of people working from really cool places, but I’d like to share what it means to me. 1. I get to work with the best people in the world, not just people who live within commuting distance of an office location. 2. We retain great people! We give our team the flexibility to live their lives where they want to be - we have a culture built on trust and respect that encourages people to stay. 3. Retaining great people means our clients get to work with a consistent team of the best in the business! 4. On a personal note, it means I get to live in one of my favorite places on earth - Charlottesville, VA! I didn’t have to leave a community I love living in just to be close to an office location for a job. And to everyone who has asked me, no #workfromanywhere doesn’t mean that our team doesn’t get to take a proper vacation. We still prioritize taking uninterrupted time away from work, so that we are more creative and energized at work.

One unique aspect of my time here at Husch is that I’ve been working from home since day one as a part of The Link, HB’s remote office. I feel so happy and blessed to have this opportunity, which has allowed me to maintain a healthy work-life balance while still contributing effectively to our team’s success.
