I recently watched the movie *Srikanth*, and it left a profound impact on me. The story of Srikanth Bolla is incredibly inspiring and demonstrates how determination, hard work, and a positive mindset can overcome any obstacle. I felt compelled to share my thoughts and what I learned about this remarkable individual. Srikanth Bolla was born visually impaired, which posed significant challenges in his early life. Despite societal and systemic barriers, he pursued his education with unwavering resolve. His journey from being denied admission to prestigious institutions in India due to his disability to becoming the founder of Bollant Industries is nothing short of extraordinary. One of the pivotal moments in Srikanth’s life was his meeting with Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, the former President of India. Dr. Kalam was known for his visionary ideas and his encouragement of young minds. He recognized Srikanth's potential and supported him in pursuing his dreams. This support and guidance from Dr. Kalam were instrumental in bolstering Srikanth's confidence and helping him envision a future where he could make a significant impact. Bollant Industries, under Srikanth's leadership, focuses on creating eco-friendly products while employing people with disabilities. This inclusive model not only promotes sustainability but also provides meaningful employment opportunities to those who are often marginalized. What struck me the most about Srikanth's story is his relentless pursuit of excellence and his ability to turn adversity into opportunity. His achievements remind us that our limitations are often self-imposed, and with the right mindset, we can achieve anything we set our minds to. If you haven't watched the movie *Srikanth* yet, I highly recommend it. It’s a powerful reminder of the human spirit's resilience and the impact one person can have on the world. #SrikanthBolla #Inspiration #OvercomingObstacles #BollantIndustries #Inclusion #Sustainability #NeverGiveUp #APJAbdulKalam

Today was a proud moment for me to be a part of the Viksit Bharat@2047 panel anchored by Tata Institute of Social Sciences for the western zone. The platform provided me an opportunity to thoughtstorm with industry leaders, academicians, practising entrepreneurs and other key stakeholders from the ecosystem to deep dive and have a consultative approach towards what is the future of entrepreneurship and its implication on India’s economic growth by 2047, which will also be India’s 100th year of independence. The platform acted as a gateway to bringing in the current challenges faced when it comes to integrating entrepreneurship across key themes of education, scale, technology, inclusiveness and circular economy. But also provoked some key ideas and potential recommendations to bolster the effectiveness of each parameters, across the entrepreneurial value chain for potential economic growth. The Viksit Bharat@2047 is a vision document which is being developed in consultation across key stakeholders and fosters inclusive economic participation across all citizens. The document will envision economic growth, sustainable development goals, improvement in ease of doing business, enhanced infrastructure and social welfare activities. I thank Satyajit Majumdar sir for providing this illustrious opportunity and potentially contribute towards the nation building efforts! It was further enlightening to meet industry experts and share perspectives across the topic. Yogi Sriram sir, Zubin Mulla sir, Raviraj Durwas Sujay Dixit Dr.Madhav Sathe and other colleagues from the academic and entrepreneurial ecosystem. #nationbuilding #viksitbharat2047

Entrepreneur | Finance & Infotainment Creator | 500k+ Community | Host of 'Bharat ke Badlaav Laane Wale Businesses' Series | Advocating for #BadaltaBharat🇮🇳
What does #BadaltaBharat mean to you? I asked this question recently, and the responses were eye-opening: ✔️Gender equality ✔️ Stronger law and order ✔️Reduced taxes ✔️More innovative startups While all of these points play their part, the 4th one grabbed my attention. In the CA fraternity, we believe: “Dhandha badega, tabhi toh desh badhega”. But there’s more to it—India’s growth must be ethical, inclusive, and sustainable. 👉🏻Today, India stands at the edge of transformation. With 100,000+ startups and ranking as the 3rd-largest startup ecosystem globally, our nation is brimming with possibilities. With 108 unicorns leading the charge, we’re not just breaking barriers, we’re redefining global possibilities. But the real magic is happening beyond the metro cities—over 50% of India’s startups now rise from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, proving that innovation knows no boundaries. ✅What excites me the most is the rise of SOCIOPRENEURS: the visionaries blending business with social impact. They’re solving critical issues like education, healthcare, and sustainability, all while driving inclusive growth. If you know any sociopreneurs, tag them—I’d love to feature their stories! These changemakers are not just creating businesses—they’re reshaping the narrative of India’s future. And to showcase them, I’m launching a new series to explore the bold stories that are powering #BadaltaBharat. From game-changing startups to sustainability-driven ventures, we’ll dive into the innovations pushing India onto the global stage. So, what does Badalta Bharat mean to you? Drop your thoughts below and let’s spark a conversation! #BadaltaBharat #IndiaRising #Sociopreneurs #Innovation #Entrepreneurship #StayCuriousWithSimran #FutureOfIndia #Sustainability #Contentcreator

I foster the spirit of tinkering and entrepreneurship in the demographic dividend of developing nations.
When the vision of creating an ecosystem of 10,000 makerspaces in schools in India was fulfilled, little did I know that these #Tinkering labs are the foundation of an irreversible movement in the education space of India and other developing nations in #Asia, #MENA, and #Africa. Today, numerous state and central government bodies aided by philanthropies, CSRs, foundations, and innovators are joining this bandwagon. At Atal Innovation Mission Official , I worked the program with the help of many lenses and perspectives, from educators to administrators, from tinkerers to entrepreneurs, from students to teachers, and from school leaders to CSR/corporate/philanthropic partners. Many pathbreaking programs like the entrepreneurship curriculums, SEL models, etc conceptualized by visionaries were presented, and the team did what they could. While studying the big-picture of the #InnovationCulture of #DevelopingNations at Harvard Graduate School of Education, I felt the need to know the perspective of innovators and entrepreneurs solving for the ED-Tech industry of India through #MadeinIndia offerings. The vision to Democratize Tinkering demanded me to fail on this one more turf. Visionary Social Entrepreneurs like Mekin Maheshwari, Eshwar Bandi, Dhrupal Shah, Siddharth Bhatter, Smit Bhanushali, and many others are trying to #SolveforIndia for a #VikasitBharat, building 21st-century technology, innovation, entrepreneurial skills in young minds creating grassroots innovators and constantly looking for more hands and more ideas. For example, STEMpedia wants to expand its team across exciting functions like #education, #AI, #Robotics, #Innovation, #Project, and #Program #Management. If you can contribute, write to hr@thestempedia.com and Alok Singh. More on other organizations soon! Want to know more and learn together? Just comment/message #HappyTinkering #MakersGonnaMake

🌟 Breaking Stereotypes, Building Dreams 🌟 🚀 From the male-dominated realm of the automobile industry to pioneering a movement for a spit-free India, my journey as a woman entrepreneur has been anything but conventional. 💼 Joining my father's business amidst a crisis was my entry point into a world where gender roles dictated the norm. The challenges were manifold – navigating through a sea of male counterparts, earning respect in a traditionally male-dominated space, and overcoming the skepticism that often accompanies newcomers, especially women. 🔧 Yet, every obstacle fueled my determination to break stereotypes and carve my own path. The journey was tough, but every setback became a stepping stone towards my greater purpose. 🌱 The seeds of innovation were sown during my tenure in the automobile industry. Witnessing the unsanitary act of open spitting among drivers and workers sparked a revelation. This wasn't just a hygiene issue; it was a societal problem begging for a solution. 🌍 Fast forward to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the world was ripe for change. It was during this time of reflection that the idea for ekPehel was born – a mission-driven startup aimed at making India open spit-free. 🔍 Reflecting on my journey, I've learned that opportunities often present themselves in unexpected ways. Whether by choice or circumstance, each experience serves a greater purpose if we're willing to embrace it. 👩💼 To all the aspiring women entrepreneurs out there, remember this: your journey may be challenging, but it's also uniquely yours. Embrace every opportunity, defy stereotypes, and let your dreams soar. Together, we can create a world where gender is never a limitation but a source of strength. #womenentrepreneurs #breakingstereotypes #empowerment #innovation #startupjourney #ekpehel #spitfreeindia

Equality ensures everyone gets the same box. But what if some need a bigger box to see the opportunity? Equity recognizes these differences and provides the support each person needs to succeed. In the pursuit of a just society, it's crucial to understand that equality and equity are not the same. Equality means providing everyone with the same resources and opportunities, assuming a level playing field from the start. However, equity recognizes that everyone has unique circumstances and allocates the exact resources and opportunities needed to reach an equal outcome. At GDEIA, we embrace this nuanced approach. We aim to create an environment in India where everyone's unique needs are met, ensuring that all individuals can achieve their fullest potential. By prioritizing equity, we strive to bridge the gaps and dismantle the barriers that prevent true inclusion and fairness. Join us in our mission to turn the promise of equity into a reality, ensuring that every person has the support they need to succeed. CHRO ♦ Top Voice ♦ Transformative Leadership ♦ Guiding Organizations Through Change ♦ Building Organizational & Leadership Capability ♦ ex JPM/Headstrong/Reliance/Randstad
What does Independence Day mean for you? The first time, I realised that perhaps I may also be contributing to nation building was atop Techspan/Headstrong/Genpact Headstrong Capital Markets office building at A-35, Sec 16. Harsh Lohit was the first person I ever heard saying with firm conviction and belief at the flag unfurling event that each of us working at the tech startup were contributing to the nation's growth. Cut to today, seeing the Indian flag unfurl on a rainy, grey day, surrounded by students who had just entered Plaksha University for the first time, gave me goosebumps. The contrast of the vibrant flag against the muted sky felt as if it were a tribute to the enduring spirit of our nation. #Education, #Entrepreneurship are the two levers we have as a society to get a quantum jump in development outcomes. #Exams is another lever unique to our country - think UPSC, NEET, IIT JEE etc and their power to accelerate individual career outcomes. Institutions like Plaksha University help delink access to premium education from one's performance in a single exam to a more holistic consideration of the future student's performance across various facets. India is not perfect. As a society, we have made huge strides but much more needs to be done. The India I witnessed at 16 is not the one my daughter will witness at 16. It dismays me that we still need to tell the dialogue our mothers told us "to be cautious at night and come back when the sun sets." We are a nation built on the sacrifices of countless individuals and families, with a strong culture of giving back to society or Seva. For me, independence means honouring these sacrifices and committing to the spirit of Seva and honesty to my work. #independence #India #Plaksha #entrepreneurship
