Pinot what? No contest - Cab is king :)

A difficult decision, as both are world-class grape varieties. And as avowed French wine lovers, we fortunately have many beautiful Pinots and Cabernets (mainly Bordeaux) in our cellar. And for me, there is the right moment, the right mood for every grape variety. But when it comes to the island wine, I would probably end up with a Burgundy 😉.

Do we really have to choose! Ok, pinot it is…

Well, between the two I believe the obvious answer is Pinot noir.

It doesn't have to be Cabernet; there are plenty of other options, but generally, I prefer a darker, heavier red. But they all have their place, red, white, rosé, still, or bubbles.

When Pinot Noir is great, nothing is comparable.  Although Cabernet Sauvignon is also delicious when it is great.

We are on team Montepulciano!
