Crush your next cocktail party by serving champagne and chips. (a little caviar never hurt either). 😜 According to wine expert Renee Sferrazza, acidity loves company which is why this pairing works. If you're serving some lamb lollipops though, don't mistakenly pair that with a rich red wine full of tannins. That type of wine should only be paired with foods that are high in fat. How many glasses of wine are in a bottle? The answer to this can be straight forward, but there are a number of different things that can be taken into account that can change the outcome. In most cases, with a standard sized bottle and a standard sized pour, you should get about 5 glasses of wine out of a bottle. A typical 750ml bottle of wine holds 25 liquid ounces, while the standard wine pour, you’d get at a restaurant is usually around 5 ounces. The size of the pour can change though based on the type of wine you’re getting. If the wine you’re drinking has a higher alcohol content, there’s a good chance that your pour will be closer to 4 ounces instead of 5. 📌 Save this for later and make sure to follow Sonal Holland Wine Academy for more such details #sonalhollandwineacademy #wineenthusiast #winelovers #winecourses #wineknowledge #winebottles

Part Six Wine Tasting Etiquette Proper wine tasting etiquette is essential for enjoying the full experience. Here are some tips: Hold the glass by the stem: This prevents your hand from warming the wine and affecting its aroma. Swirl the wine: This allows the aromas to be released. Take a small sip: Let the wine coat your palate and savor the flavors. Breathe in: This helps you to appreciate the wine's aromas. Spit or swallow: The choice is yours, but spitting can help you taste more wines without becoming intoxicated.

Understanding and practicing wine etiquette not only enhances your wine experience, but also reflects on your attention to detail in social / professional gatherings. Here is the first tip: Hold the glass by the stem: holding the stem instead of the bowl prevents the heat from your hand from warming the wine, which can alter its flavor.
