It has been hectic days of traveling for me over the last 2 weeks but I am happy to be back here with yet another update of the latest episode of my new podcast, Expat Parenting Show. The topic of this episode is close to my heart. 🧡 In today's multicultural world, consciously or unconsciously parents take decisions that impact their child's social and cultural understanding and growth. 🙌 I was happy to have a fruitful discussion with Madhumalti, discussing the essentiality of one's mother tongue, cultural identity, challenges of expat parents, personal stories of integration from Madhumalti and my life and lots more!!! Madhumalti bridges the complexities of multicultural parenting. She exemplifies how having one foot in our native culture and the other in the adopted one, is not just possible, but also empowering. 🌉🌼 The highlight of this episode for me remains how Madhumalti emphasizes on Hinduism as a way of life and not as a religion. I will not unfold more of it but let you watch watch and ponder on your thoughts about the same. 😇 You can watch the full episode here: 🔗 https://lnkd.in/eTj4GZnD If you are an Expat Parent or someone who has a partner from different culture, this conversation would be interesting for you to consume. Do let me know what are your challenges in a multicultural environment. P.S. : Do join and subscribe, and share your unique experiences in the comments.🗨️💬 #ExpatLife #ParentingAbroad #CulturalIntegration #MulticulturalParenting #parenting

"Milk tea was inclusive; it connected cultures from Hong Kong to Thailand to India," says Xun-Ling Au, plotting the 2020 origins of the pro-democracy hash tag that began with #memes and quickly pivoted into border-crossing #protest tactics. "But it was also *exclusionary*. Mainland #China doesn't do milk tea." This week, I sat down with Au for my Patreon podcast, to discuss the stakes and strategic evolution of liberation #movements in #HongKong, #Thailand, and #Myanmar. Get it here.

In today's world, many people embellish their stories with fancy words when answering simple questions like, "How did you start your entrepreneurial journey?" We often overlook the raw, authentic beginnings that resonate with most people. The average person isn't born with a silver spoon in their hand; many have to struggle immensely to make their way. I had the opportunity to interview Hiroki-san for #TGWL podcast by Global Shapers Taipei, who is arguably one of the most humble entrepreneurs I've encountered. His sincerity, kindness towards the community, and commitment to doing things wholeheartedly are palpable even in a brief conversation. I believe these qualities are key to his success. Discover more about his inspiring journey here⤵
