In honor of Juneteenth, Wingstop celebrates 59 years of freedom, resilience and continued actions for equality. The holiday marks the day when federal troops arrived in Wingstop’s founding state of Texas in 1865 to ensure that all enslaved people were freed. 

This year, we celebrated Juneteenth with our team members by learning about the history of the Juneteenth flag and its traditions, and enjoyed Smith Spot BBQ - a local Black-owned business that serves their signature flavor. #Juneteenth #FreedomDay #WingstopTeam
