How to be a changemaker. This was the topic of our Future Leaders UK session this week, led by the inspirational Sal Naseem FRSA. Sal spoke to our 200 young people in the room and a further 3000 online about the importance of following your true north, the additional barriers underrepresented young people can face, and the success that is possible if we are resilient enough to overcome these barriers. Our young people saw a true leader in Sal, someone who has been on a similar journey to them, faced similar challenges but has dedicated his life to allyship and to lifting others. Often, a significant concern raised by many individuals regarding #leadership within associations or groups is related to financial matters.
