The #SEC is cracking down on Regulation FD enforcement as it settled charges last week with a public company for selectively disclosing material nonpublic information to certain investors and for failing to promptly disclose the selectively disclosed financial information to the public after realizing the error. The violations stemmed from posts by a public relations firm to the company’s CEO’s social media accounts.
