Yes, frequent hand washing is a crucial activity for food handlers because it helps prevent food contamination and the spread of disease, and prevents food contamination. Food handlers can carry germs on their hands that can contaminate food while preparing it. Prevents disease outbreaks Poor hand washing practices can lead to outbreaks of diseases like norovirus, Campylobacter, Salmonella, and E. coli. Reduces risk of cross-contamination Washing your hands often and correctly can help prevent cross-contamination.
