Nationwide’s brand refresh is a hot topic right now – no surprise given it’s such a well known brand. It’s a challenge to keep the heritage and move with the times and, to me, this strikes a good balance. The thing about design is that its subjective and there is no one right answer – the best way to measure it’s success is to understand the brief and aims. What do you think?
We've had a few different looks since we first opened our doors in 1884. Now it’s time to introduce our new, modern look, built on the values you know and trust. We’ve changed how we look, but we haven’t changed what makes us different. Unlike the banks, we’re not owned by shareholders. We are owned by our members. Which means we can always focus on what’s best for them. It’s why we reserve exclusive products and services for our existing members. It’s why we share our profits with them too. And it’s why we’re keeping branches open on high streets across the country, until at least 2026, because we know face-to-face banking matters to our customers. Our new look will be seen across all 605 of our branches. Alongside branches, all card and customer communications will be updated as part of our new commitment to offering a good way to bank.
