Today’s post is all about the second award we’ve been nominated for, which is ‘Driving Sustainability’. Driving Sustainability is something that has been at the heart of our business since we began. As a business we focus on saving clients money by eliminating unplanned downtime and reducing wasted energy. So to be able to calculate this properly we needed to understand as much as possible about sustainability, environmental impacts and race-to-zero strategies. So much so that we were in the pilot cohort for the Net Zero Nation Accelerator Programme. Through being part of this we have learnt so much about carbon within businesses, how to remove carbon and how looking at your sustainability approach can help the profitability of your business. We’ve now helped over 120 companies in the local area in this process, and we’re starting to make a major impact in reducing the carbon that is consumed across Ayrshire.
