🚨URGENT ACTION NEEDED🚨 Late last night, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) issued a memo instructing all federal agencies, to the extent permissible under applicable law, to "temporarily pause all activities related obligation or disbursement of all Federal financial assistance, and other relevant agency activities that may be implicated by the executive orders, including, but not limited to financial assistance for foreign aid, nongovernmental organizations, DEI, woke gender ideology, and the green new deal." While it is unclear at this time to what extent Medicaid I/DD services fall within this broad scope, please take action today to contact your Senator and Representative through our action alert and request that they reach out to OMB for immediate clarification. ❗ US Grants Update ❗ The White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB) just rescinded Memorandum M-25-13, effectively lifting the temporary freeze on federal financial assistance programs. All pending and new applications can now move forward and funding will be allocated again. The communities have spoken on the importance of non-dilutive funding for innovators and the government heard them. Innovation thrives with capital, but it needs people to exist. We will closely monitor the updates and make sure our community stay informed.
