💡 Join us for the live webinar (https://lnkd.in/es4fPJcm) on April 23rd and learn more about the benefits of simulation for developing sustainable packaging.
♻ #Sustainability is one of the major challenges for CPG-R companies. These companies have sustainability targets in place to reduce their carbon footprint, where lightweighting and using more recycled plastics and alternative materials play an important role in the design of more eco-friendly packaging. Furthermore, agile development processes are necessary to develop the best package in a short timeframe to be able to quickly validate designs, evaluate material alternatives, reduce weight and run trade-off studies.
⏩ All plastic bottles from any producer need to match similar types of requirements : top load, squeeze, capping, opening of the lid, and drop test are probably the most relevant scenarios to validate bottle performance in the early design stage. #Simulation roles on the #3DEXPERIENCE platform with #Abaqus solver technology help to replace time consuming physical prototypes with much faster simulations. On top of that, there is a unique toolset to capture and re-use simulation expert know-how and create easy-to-use web UI’s to execute complex simulations - even from a cell phone. Now, complex simulations can be used directly by designers or packaging managers, who can quickly execute their highly repetitive day-to-day tasks.
📺 In the webinar, we will explain the underlying #MODSIM technology and show some typical packaging scenarios. We will also demonstrate how customers using this technology were able to reduce the weight of many different bottle types by typically 10-15% within a short timeframe, while fulfilling all requirements.
Highlights :
➡ Sustainability through bottle lightweighting and PCR materials
➡ Easy-to-use simulation for packaging managers and designers
➡ More agile development processes
