Waterloo Institute for Sustainable Aeronautics (WISA) reposted this
I am very pleased to share that Dr. Suzanne Kearns, PhD, former airplane and helicopter pilot, and founder of the Waterloo Institute for Sustainable Aeronautics (WISA), has been featured in Canada Foundation for Innovation/Fondation canadienne pour l'innovation's podcast, "10,000 ways". Dr. Kearns research explores how to optimize the next generation of aviation professionals (NGAP) by analyzing processes to attract people to the field of aviation. Her story is an inspiring one and I encourage those in my network to take a listen to the full podcast as she continues to help curb the environmental impacts of flight while developing future talent in the industry. https://lnkd.in/gWUBMA9u University of Waterloo University of Waterloo Faculty of Environment
Congratulations, Dr. Suzanne Kearns, PhD! I look forward to listening to the podcast this weekend.
Just curious, what do you mean by "optimize" the professionals?
Thank you for sharing! It was an honor to be featured on the 10,000 Ways podcast to discuss developing future aviation professionals and tackling aviation’s environmental challenges. Proud to be part of the community of innovators at the University of Waterloo!
Congratulations Suzanne!
