#CNN GOING WEIRD
What, What is going on at CNN, folks? So my wife, she's telling me I need to watch something other than Fox. And also, stop getting all my information from Breitbart, which, those two are basically news outlets that's where I get most of my information. So, you know, it supports what I believe.
So following my wife's advice, which is often a good thing for me to do, it's often a good thing. Not always, not always, but often it is a good thing for me to do. I started watching during the, Republican National Convention.
Yeah, much to my surprise. Much to my surprise., they were actually not argumentative with their guests, who happened to be, well, Republicans and not Republicans like Liz Cheney. She's not a Republican. Not those kinds CNN often brings those people out and pretend they are Republicans when they really aren't. They really are not mainstream, Republicans.
So they were having actually a discussion and she was listening and they were going back and forth. And it wasn't an argument. It wasn't an argument. And it was actually kind of interesting to listen because she was actually getting information from her guests that may be contrary to what she believed, but she was actually interacting like a journalist, which is a rarity on CNN.
Then the same thing last night. I was watching, watching a panel. They had like a panel of five, I think five or six people, and two of them were actually legitimate Republicans. Yeah, legitimate Republicans. One was a Trump pollster, and the other one was Axelrod and Van Jones.
They were not denying the reality of, well, the fact that Joe Biden, he's not all there. He's not all there. And so they were actually having a discussion going back and forth and talking about facts and agreeing and disagreeing.
And they weren't trying to, well, argue the obvious. And, it was actually interesting. It was actually interesting to hear the back and forth because it was legitimate and there was no name calling. There was no vilification of the other people.
There was no vilification of the Democrats that were on that panel, no vilification of the Republicans. They were just having a conversation. And sometimes they disagreed, but they did so well, amicably.
So what's going on with CNN? I think they may be responding to the fact that, well, their viewership is in the tank and, their programming, well, it's not bringing in people.
And I gotta say that I was surprised during the debate. I thought that the CNN anchors were going to be a major factor. They were actually almost not even there. And that's the way it should have been. It was for the candidates to show what they know, to show what they have to say, not for the anchors.
I was stunned that they were so basically, hands off. And, so maybe, maybe there's hope for CNN. I don't know. I don't know. But I guarantee you, the last few times I've been watching CNN, which is rare, but it's been a different CNN.
