⏳ 11 minutes ⌛ Do you think that’s enough time for an assessment, diagnosis, and explanation of your treatment? Since an orthopedist in Germany has to treat an average of 61 patients on a normal day, this means that they have, on average, only 11 minutes to do all of the above. That’s not nearly enough. 👨🏼⚕️ The general shortage of physiotherapists also means that the demand for physios specializing in sports injury rehab is much higher than the current supply. We understand that firsthand. When co-founder and CEO Philip Billaudelle finally found co-founder and physiotherapist Maryke Louw after having already tried 4 specialists, the initial consultation took a solid 45 minutes. It’s unsurprising that many who seek treatment for their sports injury leave the doctors office feeling rushed, wondering whether they can trust their diagnosis, or what actions they should take next. 📱 We use technology to bridge this gap and give you more than 11 minutes, so you can heal faster and with less frustration.
