We have long held the conviction that we can be both a great business and a great corporate citizen. In fact, we believe we cannot be one without the other. We have partnered with EcoCart to empower our WishGarden's community to make orders 100% carbon neutral. For every one of our products that ships, you can offset the specific carbon footprint with a positive environmental impact! We have offset 929,997 lb of CO₂ Emissions thus far! All contributions have gone to various forestry-based carbon offset projects - from reforestation to protection and improved forest management. #wishgardenherbs #earthday #climatechange #carbonoffset #ecocart

This past Monday, April 22nd, was Earth Day. The day is a powerful reminder of the importance of environmental conservation, but why limit our efforts to just one day a year? By incorporating water conservation practices into our daily lives, we can make every day Earth Day. Each of us has the power to significantly reduce water usage and contribute to a healthier planet, whether at home, in our businesses, or on agricultural lands. Check out the full blog post here: https://lnkd.in/gVDzkWWk for tips on how you can conserve water at home, in business, and in agricultural practices. #earthday #sustainability #rainwaterharvesting #watertanks #hydroponicfarming #aquaponics #cobourg #cobourgontario #ontariocanada #sustainablemanufacturing #sustainableliving #ecofriendly #naturalresources

97% of sawmills in the South get their wood fiber from responsible sources. Why Does This Matter? These products are sourced using practices that protect the forests and the waters that flow through them. Mills ensure the wood they use is sourced from forests that comply with forest best management practices (e.g., protection of water quality, endangered species, etc.) Learn more from the American Wood Council 👉 https://ow.ly/VMyz50Qu9iA #southernpine #wood #buildwithwood #lumber #forestproducts #sustainability #greenbuilding #carbon #sustainable #forestmanagement

On this Environment Day, let's reaffirm our commitment to protecting our planet. Land restoration remains a common responsibility requiring everyone to address the root causes of land degradation in order to protect vulnerable livelihoods and communities. In our Sustainable Agriculture and Environment programmes, we engage small holder farmers to practice regenerative agriculture that reduces land degradation and desertification. We need to take collective and transformative actions to restore our planet. #WorldEnvironmentDay2024 #ClimateChange

Wastewater treatment is crucial for protecting wildlife and ecosystems by cleaning harmful substances from the water before it returns to nature. This process keeps aquatic life safe, preserves natural habitats, and helps maintain biodiversity by ensuring water sources are clean. Clean water is essential for human health, preventing waterborne diseases and supporting recreational and industrial activities. Additionally, treated wastewater can be reused for irrigation and other purposes, promoting environmental sustainability and reducing the strain on freshwater resources. Effective wastewater treatment plays a key role in maintaining a healthy environment. Join us in supporting clean water efforts and advocating for better wastewater treatment practices to ensure a sustainable future for everyone. 📞 959777314949 📧 salemm@atpinnovations.com; salesupportmm@atpinnovations.com Line ID: @atpsolutionsmyamar https://lnkd.in/gy52Ss8c #wastewater treatment #wildlife protection #ecosystem preservation # clean water #environmental sustainability #biodiversity conservation

❓Did you know that peatlands are connected to our well-being? Peatlands, a unique type of wetland, are characterized by their top layer of peat soil. This peat is composed of partially decaying organic matter that has built up due to the waterlogged conditions. Their water features and peat soil give peatlands unique properties which help society. 🌱 Peatlands are crucial for carbon and water storage, acting as natural defenses against climate change. Despite covering only 3% of the world’s landmass, they can store nearly 30% of Earth's soil carbon. That’s twice the carbon storage of the world's forests. 🌧️ As climate change threatens biodiversity and increases natural disasters, peatlands offer protection. They are home to unique plant and animal species and can store excess water during heavy storms. The sponge-like peat soil can hold up to 90% of water, protecting communities from both floods and droughts. 💧The peat soil acts as a natural filter, cleaning water by removing contaminants. In Ireland, roughly 68% of the drinking water comes from peatlands. However, around 15% of the world’s peatlands have been drained. Dried peatlands no longer have the same capacities as in their natural wet state. Their inhabitants are left without a home. And the carbon stored in the ground is released. Drained peatlands contribute to greenhouse gas emissions. They account for 4% of the total human induced emissions. 💡Therefore, wetland conservation and restoration are essential. Efforts like rewetting dried peatlands and switching to wet agriculture can make a big difference. In WET HORIZONS, we aim to speed up restoration in Europe by filling in knowledge gaps and researching different aspects of restoration. 🔗 Learn more about our project: https://lnkd.in/egwCBxcM Thank you to Science Shake on Instagram for the illustrations. #Wetlands #Peatlands #WorldPeatlandsDay #WorldEnvironmentDay #GenerationRestoration #ForNature #EcosystemResortation

Let's celebrate #worldenvironmentday2024. 🌏 Land-use changes and land degradation caused by factors such as extensive agriculture, deforestation and unmanaged urbanization and sprawl, are reducing the #biodiversity of many land #ecosystems. Changes in #water courses, #pollution and unsustainable consumption of water resources are causing water-related stress and reduced #aquaticbiodiversity. We help our customers and partners working to #restore and maintain the #environment reduce cost risk and delay with world's best high frequency automated lab-grade #waterquality measurement. #generationrestoration
