Whether day or night, regardless of age or gender, a sense of safety pervades every corner of Monaco. It is a unique feeling, one that you won’t encounter in any other capital around the world—this is the peace of mind found only in the “village” of Monaco. #flashbackfriday 💃 This was me...year 2000 something, really stormy tangotimes in Berlin and the big apple of Southamerica, Buenos Aires. Have had all the dances you must have there. 16 flights in 8 years, Berlin-Ezeiza-Berlin, the first years sometimes via London and / or Sao Paolo. Talking before obtaining the Airfrance frequent flyer card and first class flights. 🛫 Average traveltime was 20-24 for hours. Arriving always exhausted, recovered the Jetlag, time difference and climate shock ususally in two days and two good night sleeps, if I had a quiet place. Which is in some Cities not always guaranteed ;) 🧘♂️ But, what can you do? "Paciencia, la vida es así..." just as the tango lyric says, or? In these Berlin - Buenos Aires travels I often passed crucial moments because I had to take the decision: how much resources do I invest into my dance and how much into the business, designing and producing 100s of 1000s design shoes for tango and for my brand. In the end I did the spagat, people say in ballet, dancing both roles. How I managed? Thank god I had lots of fun, this kept me going. 👯♀️ Today again I am in a situation of deciding which role I am dancing? Do I want to become again market leader of a niche market and develop sustainable travelconcepts and retreats? Or writing unique Travel Tales ? Who knows. What is meant to be will be. No forcing my goal. And I can do the two. 💆♀️ My learning: double role is doable. In business, in tango and in life - you just have to have fun. If you have no fun - leave it.
