The alarming decline in Series B conversion rates, plummeting from 16% to 8% last year, suggests that much of the hard work invested in seed and Series A companies is being squandered. The decline in late-stage funding is attributed to the post-pandemic economic climate and the siloed nature of the UK’s VC market.
