Last week Saturday, I attended my first physical event for this year. Here's everything I benefited from it; (For real, I never thought physical events were as inspiring as this, I would have paid more attention to it earlier 😭) 📌 I made friends. 📌 I learnt from experts. 📌 My "why" got strengthened. 📌 I got to network with like minds. 📌 I got inspired by young ladies in tech. 📌 I got a moment to think outside school activities. 📌 I had the opportunity to join valuable tech communities. ... and lots more. So, if you're there and still doubting the power of attending physical events, you've probably been doing it the wrong way, change your perspective of it and trust me, you'll see the benefits I saw. I've been hitting up a ton of conferences, and LinkedIn has been my go-to for connecting with folks. Want to know a cool hack? Take a screenshot of your LinkedIn QR code and set it as your phone’s lock screen when you go to conferences. Switch it back after you're done.
