𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗮 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗿? 💼 Last Saturday, WDR Lokalzeit, a news magazine programme with information from all over NRW, focussed on precisely this question and visited us a few weeks ago. And some of our colleagues found exactly the right words to answer this question, which naturally makes us very proud as an employer. What makes BIKAR so special as an employer is best summarised by our colleagues: 🔹 Annalena Moll, Chief Human Resources Officer: "It was the best decision I ever made to come here." - These words reflect how much we care about creating a working environment where everyone feels welcome and supported. 🔹 Vanessa, Operator in the Plant Control Centre: "I'm super happy here and I love getting up every morning to come to work." - We make sure everyone can live their passion and start the day with joy. 🔹 Marie-Theres Weber, Key Account Manager Recycling: "It's great to balance family and work." - We understand the importance of balancing family and career. Flexible working hours and a family-friendly culture are a reality for us. 🔹 Ingo Miß, Chief Sales Officer | Authorised Signatory | Head of Training: "It takes a team to perform well." - Team spirit is the foundation of our success. Only together can we achieve great things. We want to be not only a financially successful company, but also a place where people can develop and thrive. After all, a good company is one that listens to its people and grows with them. 💪🏻 You can view the clip here from minute 14:23: https://lnkd.in/edRg9HbK In your opinion, what should not be missing in any company in order to be a good employer? Let us know in the comments, of course we also want to keep developing! 👇 #employer #WDR #Lokalzeit #BIKARFAMILY #News

Curious, purpose-driven and highly adaptable all-rounder (founder, CEO, facilitator, consultant) • Believes that he can change the world
Looking back on a week filled with conferences & gatherings - here some highlights: On Tuesday, the Federal Office for Spatial Development ARE invited to the Forum Nachhaltige Entwicklung with focus on negative spillovers. Two experiences that stood out for me: 1️⃣ Travelling to parallel universe/world with Bene Greiner and his 17welten.net - a fun, unusual and sensory exploration that I can highly recommend 2️⃣ Hearing Peter Messerli from the Wyss Academy for Nature showing in great examples how negative spillovers play out in real life. One of them was the case of France offering a few millions to Brazil to fight the forest fires while importing soy worth billions each year from Brazil, and thus driving the problem. Yesterday SENS held it's annual Swiss Social Economy Forum in Solothurn, addressing - among others - the challenges of financing for the social economy. Two moments I particularly enjoyed from this forum were: 1️⃣ Hear Christian Schefer's story with this organization Karma Lama (vom Verein Helferherz), and what a rollercoaster it has been with regards to financing 2️⃣ Witnessing Nik (Niklaus Samuel) Gugger, Gerhard Andrey and Fabrice Burri in an animated & passionate discussion around the role and performance of the public administration around this topic. And last but not least, the kick off to the Innovation Booster Future Urban Society last night at the Impact Hub Zürich. The setting was much more intimate and down to earth (literally), and thus a great way to round the day off. Two take-aways from here: 1️⃣ Björn Müller, PhD's beautiful use of story-telling to underline the systemic approach that is required to solve the challenges we're facing 2️⃣ Caroline Paulick-Thiel's refreshing input where I learned - among other things - about the need for #exnovation (the cousin of the much better known innovation). And on top of these brain nuggets, there were of course lots of new connections and rich conversations. Looking forward now to the weekend to let it all settle! #ForumNachhaltigeEntwicklung #SSEF24

Safety first! This is the right approach for the future communication and data exchange. It is a challenge, an opportunity and a responsibility to hand over the next level of quantum ecosystem to the hands of experts. AIT team is one of them
#datasovereignty #digitalsovereignty #Austria #Europe #EuroQCI QCI-CAT Project Manuela Kos Sebastian Ramacher Helmut Leopold Agnes Jodkowski https://lnkd.in/d_XmR8J6

The Coiltech team’s group photo, taken at the completion of the exhibition’s setup, captures a touching moment for every member, regardless of their background or how long they’ve been with us. Visible now is the culmination of meticulous planning and, in some cases, years of careful deliberation. It is the tangible manifestation of a vision woven together by a team drawing from the expertise of 12 different nationalities, starting from zero in 2010. Our international composition stems from focusing on an individual's skills and ambitions rather than their origins as we've developed our team over the years. Our collective endeavour is to stage the best exhibition in our field, the one that is experienced by its participants as outstanding. Our anticipation intensifies with each passing hour as we gear up to welcome the staff members across 500+ exhibiting companies, besides roughly 4,000 professional visitors hailing from over 50 nations in the days ahead. Knowing that our daily efforts inspire so many to travel to Augsburg makes us understandably proud. This pride is rooted not just in numbers but in the essence of what draws our guests to us: Coiltech participants do not dream of a better tomorrow; they actively engineer it. They are developing today the technical solutions that will improve life tomorrow, with the technology that is key to slowing down or halting climate change - another area where sharing a common goal matters, regardless of one's background... #EV #electricalmotors #HighVoltage
