🧵 My Journey into Programming and Web Development 🚀 In April 2023, I embarked on a journey into the world of programming and web development. Here's a glimpse into what I've been up to: 1/ Started with an Android app development course, delving into C, C++, Java, SQL, and Android Studio. Built weather and notes apps, mastering both Java and Kotlin. 2/ Transitioned into web development, mastering HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, and Appwrite. Projects included Netflix UI Clone, Currency Converter, Blog and Notes Web Apps. 3/ Currently honing my skills in data structures and algorithms (DSA) for problem-solving and interview prep. Just finished the course “Dart Clean Code: Writing High-Efficiency, Maintainable Dart Programs” by Temidayo Adefioye! Check it out: https://lnkd.in/dhpq6TCU #dart. I recently completed this course on clean coding practices, and while some parts—like case usage and indentation—felt unnecessary due to Dart's IDE support, I found the sections on commenting techniques and SOLID principles really helpful. These concepts are essential for writing maintainable, scalable code. I'd recommend this course, especially for beginners or developers looking to refine their approach to clean code.

Day 61 of 1000. Busy prepping for exams, but still squeezing in some coding time! Today, I almost forgot to code because I was so focused on exam preparation. However, I managed to review my app and found a few areas where I can make some minor optimizations for a smoother user experience. One key improvement I identified is adding a new boolean column to my database to track task completion status. Although I didn't have time to implement it right away, I left detailed TODO comments so I can tackle it after my exam. In the meantime, I also adjusted the padding in certain areas of the app to enhance its user-friendliness. Small changes, but they go a long way in improving the overall flow and experience!
