September 25th, 1954 Channel 8 WMTW had it's first official broadcast! For the last 70 years we've been honored to be there through the biggest stories impacting Maine and our viewers. Our Creative Services team dug through 70 years of history to put this promo together commemorating seven decades of serving Mainers.

A very bittersweet day here at WMTW as we say goodbye to Maintenance tech Dana Woodward! Dana is the definition of a jack of all trades, from everyday needs of the station to building walls from scratch Dana does everything that you could ever need! No project is ever too big! We will miss him greatly and wish him well in retirement!

Wednesday was a great night at Hadlock field! Our General Manager, Dave and Promotions Writer/Producer, Maverick participated in the Portland Sea Dogs' First Annual Cornhole Tournament supporting the Barbara Bush Children's Hospital. #communitybuilding #businesssupportingbusiness #BBH #Portland

Maine’s Total Coverage is committed to making our viewers day just a little easier and there isn’t too many things more difficult than back to school. With the start of school just a few weeks away here in Maine our Creative Services team produced this new promo highlighting our morning team and upcoming coverage viewers can count on!

It’s getting close to back to school season here In Maine! Our morning anchors Jessica Gagne Terry Stackhouse and meteorologist Ted McInerney took a field trip with our creative services department to film our brand new back to school promo. Of course we had to bring Tracker8 along for the ride!
