I recently had an unfortunate experience with the hiring process as my offer letter was revoked without clear communication at Accenture Accenture in India While I am disappointed that the offer was withdrawn, I understand that circumstances may have changed. After receiving offer letter from HR and completed all necessary documentation for the Job profile , all of a sudden there was no communication and lack of transparency and the Hiring team and the recruiting HR stopped answering my calls during that time. I left my previous organisation due to opportunity at accenture and also accepted the offer letter. My joining date was 1st July, 2024, which was postponed to 1st August, 2024. Later, I was told that there is no business requirement and your offer letter has been revoked. I suffered immense mental and financial setbacks due to stress, anxiety and depleting savings, loss of time and halt on career progression This lack of transparency was disheartening. Despite my attempts to reach out to HR, I received no response, leaving me feeling undervalued and disregarded. HR and the hiring teams should understand these kind of practices do Impacts a person's Mental Health. Clear and respectful communication is crucial in any professional setting, and the way this situation was handled fell short of those expectations. These experiences set very unprofessional footprints on employees. I hope this feedback can contribute to improving the candidate experience for future applicants. Hello and Greetings Everyone! My Take: Online Job Applications Vs Responses Awaited Vs PWD's? I have applied in almost all the companies through their company website and through "Easy Apply" on LinkedIn. My Take: ✍ No response received good or bad. Still waiting 🤔 My Question to all the HR's and recruiters of companies: Q1: Why the jobs openings are posted on LinkedIn, when no one cares to respond, that your application has been rejected or accepted? Q2: I have also applied through company website, but no one cares to review the application, the application still says "Application Received" on their workday? Why so much delay? Q3 : Even if the candidate does not fit, can the concerned person help the candidate where the gap is or the rejection reason? So that the person knows where he/she lacked. Welcoming answers, reviews and support will highly be appreciated! On the lighter note, today, I had to use my InMail credits to proactively ask about the status of my application. 🫥 🤔 I am tagging companies asking what they have to offer to person like me who is PWD and with the skill set that I hold. I’m sharing my recent experience with Accenture in hopes that it will help improve the recruitment process and transparency for future candidates. I, too, faced a situation similar to others where my offer was revoked without clear communication. I was offered a position with an expected joining date of August 30, which was then postponed to September 30. Unfortunately, without any further updates or discussions, I received a notification that my offer had been revoked. I had already resigned from my previous role in anticipation of starting at Accenture, which has left me in a challenging situation. The lack of transparency and communication during this process has been deeply frustrating, especially after I tried reaching out multiple times without receiving a clear response. This has impacted not only my career progression but also my financial and mental well-being. I hope that sharing this experience will encourage Accenture, and other organizations, to prioritize respectful communication and better transparency during the hiring process. Be aware of giving #accenture exams through its vendor partner. Few vendors are showing some pecuniary interest to use their application in securing jobs at accenture. Accenture has to recheck with their hiring policy and stop conducting drives unnecessarily for name sake. I hope there are many hidden reasons for the revoke of offer letters. But in freshers 2024 point of view issue offers when you are immediately onboarding the employees, don't name them to wait for months and years. Due to this practice they are losing other opportunities which they have received.
