From serving in the Peace Corps to navigating through law school and business school, my path has led me to spend over a decade in the dynamic world of the restaurant industry leading real estate and development functions. My experience spans across various organizational structures, from privately-owned enterprises to those backed by investor-held private equity funds, and even publicly traded companies. I've engaged with both domestic and internationally-owned groups, ranging from small-scale ventures with rapid growth ambitions to larger entities with expansive appetites for development. Throughout my journey so far, I've donned numerous hats, overseeing critical aspects such as real estate strategy, negotiations, market planning, platform development, analytics, construction, design, and facility management. Today, I feel equipped with a deep understanding of real estate and development roles in the restaurant and retail sectors. I've faced challenges, celebrated successes, and navigated obstacles in managing development departments. With this wealth of experience under my belt, I am driven by a steadfast commitment to continuous growth within the industry, both for myself and for my peers.
