We are once again proud to support @smartworkscharity- a UK charity that exists to empower all women who need help getting into work. Smart Works is a dynamic, high profile and fast-growing UK charity that exists to empower all women who need help getting into work. The charity’s service uses the power of high quality clothing and one-to-one coaching to help unemployed women fulfil their potential, get the job and transform their lives. Last year, Smart Works Charity supported over 8,000 women through their service. 63% of these clients secured a job within one month of their appointment, gaining financial independence and transforming their lives. Since its founding in 2013, Smart Works has helped over 35,000 women across the UK. The charity’s mission is that any woman who needs to use the service should be able to find her way to a Smart Works centre. We love their initiative and were blown away by the amount of clothes that were donated last year so we will be doing the same again this year. Bring along your clothing on the day and we will have baskets for you to make your donation. #WomeninWork #SmartWorks #WomensCharity

Back in 2018, I decided to create my first website – for my mum's NGO, Sainath Seva Mandal (Sainath Charitable Trust). With zero web experience, I was aimed to create a platform to spread awareness and connect with potential donors and volunteers. I chose an open-source platform to keep costs low. After much effort, the website significantly increased our NGO's visibility and even helped us get volunteers for "Feeding the needy" campaign & secure government funding for "women empowerment" projects. Why am I sharing this? I recently met my friend who started a new business and was doubtful about creating a website. He felt it would be expensive, difficult to manage, and simply not feasible for him. It always seems impossible/difficult until it's done. If you haven’t created a website yet, take that first step—it’s more achievable than you might think. Feel free to DM me if you need any assistance! So, have you ever built your own website? What platform did you use, and when did you create it? #websitecreation #nonprofit #webdesign #getstarted #bethechange #webdevelop #digitaltransformation

Unfortunately, these careers often place these heroes in dangerous situations. Such situations can bring circumstances that can leave loved ones grappling with both loss and the need for support. As someone who has worked in EMS and has personally witnessed the impact of this foundation's work, I can attest to the immense effort they put into alleviating that loss.” Stay tuned as we shine a spotlight on each member and their chosen organization! We are in good company tonight with our board chair, Ed Hall of @kwikwetlem and our friend Tim Veresh of @pleaservicesbc at @realizestrategies AGM. Low Entropy is proud to be members of this B-Corp that supports nonprofits and social enterprises. We are looking forward to our #movienight with @danpalotta and #uncharitable, an inspiring documentary that is redefining the charitable landscape. The current outlook is that you won't earn a significant income working with non-profits. This attitude prevents talented individuals from entering the non-profit space. Why should people have to choose between earning a good income versus helping to deal with systematic gaps? We need to incentivize talented individuals to work in the charitable space. Let's create a paradigm shift in how we view the non-profit space. #maketheworldabetterplace #ImpactMatters #charitablepartner #changetheworld

It’s HOW we help women in crisis that sets us apart from other nonprofits doing great work. A woman in crisis reaches out to Uplift, we quickly review her situation, we send money directly to the woman experiencing the crisis. There is no lengthy application process. There is no grant cycle she needs to wait for. There are no obstacles. There is no catch. "Is this real?!" was a question we received from one of the women we served as she was processing the amount of relief felt upon receiving assistance. It's real. Trust-based philanthropy + agile funding. #nonprofit #supportwithinreach #womensupportingwomen #womenled
