We had the privilege of hosting this month's mentorship webinar, which explored the significant influence of women in shaping the future of the next generation. We express our heartfelt gratitude to our esteemed guest speaker, the CEO of Graith Spring Global Academy, as well as the incredible attendees who made the event truly engaging. Here are some key takeaways worth remembering from our enlightening discussion: 1. Build a strong relationship with children through humility, intentionality, and conscious effort. 2. Be vulnerable and open about your own day and experiences, showing that you're not perfect. 3. Communicate openly with children and share your feelings with them. 4. Discuss expectations and the impact of their actions on your reaction. 5. Encourage children to develop skills beyond just academics. 6. Model positive behavior and values you want to instill in children. 7. Empower children to express themselves and learn from their mistakes. 8. Avoid sending mixed messages by aligning words with actions. 9. Trust children with tasks and information, and allow them room for growth and self-expression. Let's continue to uplift and support each other in our efforts to mentor and guide the next generation. January is National Mentoring Month! It's also the month I kick off my fourth cohort with the Chicago Innovation Women's Mentoring Co-op. I can't say enough about this incredible community of women and all we accomplish when we come together to learn, grow, and support one another. Mentorship of folks from historically excluded groups supports achieving the career outcomes they're aiming for, increases diversity and inclusion within organizations and industries, and builds stronger, more empathetic, and more diverse networks. These community connections become even more essential when formal structures to support diversity and equity are eroded. Beyond that, mentorship can have a material impact on an individual's access to opportunity and information - which in turn has a material impact on their access to money and power. In any month, but particularly in this one, these are efforts worth our time and energy. #Mentorship #DEIB #CareerDevelopment

We all have unique gifts and talents, but sometimes we need a guiding hand to help us navigate the journey towards reaching our full potential. That's where mentorship comes in – having someone who believes in you, supports you, and challenges you to be the best version of yourself can truly be a game-changer. Whether it's sharing wisdom, offering advice, or just being a listening ear, having a mentor can help us grow and thrive in ways we never thought possible. In a world where it sometimes feels like we're expected to compete against each other, it's so important for us to come together as a community. By fostering a culture of support, encouragement, and empowerment, we can create a powerful network of strong, purpose-driven women who are unstoppable when we stand together. #Mentorship #FemaleLeaders #SupportEachother

We're at a pivotal moment in the history of #WomensLeadership. As women, it’s our duty to be mentors & be mentored. We understand how difficult it can be for other women starting out, how grateful you can be for an incredible opportunity and the importance of our sisterhood! #Mentorship is truly a game-changer - especially for women striving to make their mark in the world. It's incredible how a guiding hand and a listening ear can make all the difference in unlocking our true potential. I believe that mentorship goes beyond just sharing knowledge - it's about building a #SupportNetwork where experienced individuals guide and uplift the next generation of #FemaleLeaders. The impact of mentorship can transform lives and open doors to opportunities that may have seemed out of reach. By offering our wisdom, experiences, and support to those who are navigating their way through the business world, we are not only shaping their future but also contributing to a more inclusive and diverse landscape.

This image represents three generations: my mum, my grandson, and me. My mum recently passed away and I made a promise to myself. To live fully, break generational patterns, and show up for what matters most. As someone who’s spent over 30 years exploring personal development and manifestation, I know the courage it takes to face fears, step into growth, and trust your heart. That’s why I’m launching my 12-Week Group Mentorship Program for women starting 6th January. This program is for those ready to: Align with their heart and deeper purpose. Move past fear and self-doubt. Work on themselves and limiting beliefs. Step into clarity, confidence, and fulfilment. 2024 is around the corner. If you’re feeling called to create a more intentional, heart-led life, let’s connect. DM me and I’ll share more details. Here’s to showing up—for ourselves, for our dreams, and for the generations to come..... #personaldevelopment #mentorship #growthmindset #mentorship #womeninbusiness
