Women's Digital Health Summit’s Post

And we're off! 🚀 The Women's Digital Health Summit kicks off with the first panel of the day - Why Defining Women's Digital Health Matters. Moderated by Ann Garnier and featuring Aparna (Amy) Divaraniya, PhD, Shelly Lanning, Mary Jacobson, MD and Kate Steinle. Key takeaways & discussion points include: 🗨 Often women's health conditions outside of family building are hardly spoke about, for example menopause which every woman who makes it to later age will go through. 🗨 There is a lot of false advertising and messaging in the women's health space, and we need to work to prevent this and give messages about women's health that are clinically validated. 🗨 Fundraising reminds a key challenge in this space, especially robust funding for established start ups. From an investor perspective there is a lot of room for women's digital health technologies and so this could easily change. #womenshealth #womensdigitalhealth #wdh2024

This is such an important place to talk about digital technologies! Thank you so much ! And such a relieve to hear that investors see how much is still left to be done in terms of technologies in women’s health. In my view , it has just started and passed a very first, rather simplistic stage of what technology combined with science can do in personalized care built for women , based on women’s biology , even if science , specific to female biology is at its gestational stage .
