🤝This week, WEL Victoria volunteered with the 1 UP Single Parent Resource Centre. 🏠1 UP Single Parent Resource Centre is a Victoria based organization supporting single parents. Currently, they have a school supply drive underway and need help preparing delivery packages. The WEL Victoria team prepared 200 hygiene packages and 200 school supply packages. They had a great time learning about the organization and contributing to a meaningful cause! The Executive Director will oversee and support the structure and processes of the WEL Investment Group Fund Model. We are looking for someone who has: 📈 Professional leadership and operational business experience with an entrepreneurial orientation and growth mindset 💵 Success in sourcing and securing program and organizational funding from corporate sponsors, government grants and/or other funding sources 🤝 Experience leading or working in a volunteer based organization, motivating, optimistic, and professional attitude and strong communication skills 🚀 Experience in working with the startup ecosystem: in an angel fund, a fundraising organization, an incubator or as an entrepreneur - would be an asset This role can be remote from anywhere in Canada. The salary range is $100K-$125K/year.
