It takes an ecosystem to create lasting impact. This year, we took a moment to reflect on the incredible strides made for women in tech over the past decade. The momentum we’ve seen—the mentorship, funding, advocacy, and leadership—has transformed industries, communities, and futures. At our annual Women Tech Awards, the Impact Award is a symbol of that collective effort. Typically given to one outstanding individual, this year we honored several trailblazers whose unwavering commitment over the last ten years has shaped the path for countless women in tech. Their contributions span sectors—venture, government, education, and corporate leadership—creating space and expanding opportunities at every level. To each recipient, thank you. Your dedication reminds us that meaningful change doesn’t happen alone. It takes time, resilience, and the belief that more is possible. As we celebrate this milestone, we invite everyone to think about how they can take action. The next ten years will be even more transformative, and we can’t wait to see who joins us on this stage. Here's to an amazing 2025! Catherine Wong, Jennifer Smith, Dan Burton, Denise (Laguens) Leleux, Ambria Johnson, Mandi Fang, Heather Conlan-Katz, Clint Betts, Sara Jones, Tara Rosander, Jefferson Moss, Jamie D., Sunny Washington, Glen Mella, Trina L., Vanessa Quigley, Aniza Brown 👩🏻💻🚀, Ben Hart, Kim Wittman, Val Peterson, Jill Wiggins, Carine Strom Clark, Sid K., Tami Goetz Ph.D, Daniel Horns, Jamie Morningstar, Tom Ngo, Julie Simmons, Maile K.

We are still riding the high from our Women in Tech event last Wednesday night. So many heartfelt thank yous and excitement that many had found common ground with others at the event and were inspired to further the conversation about empowering Women in Tech. One topic that was touched on was if any of our panelists had a mentor or role model that they looked up to inspire them in their careers. Not many had, which makes us think, who are the super girls of the tech world? Who inspires our next generation? Then this article came out and I thought, here is someone who should be a role model; this could be one of our super girls (because there are many yet to be discovered!). Aspiring Techies take note, here is someone whose positivity in this world is inspiring. Enjoy this read about Marissa Mayer and then let us know in the comments who your role models are for your career! #Womenintech #empowerher #rolemodels #TechRoleModels #TechCommunity #TechMentorship #NextGenLeaders

Friends, this is your friendly reminder that your voice and your vote matters. My session for SXSW EDU 2025 is now up for community voting for a few more days, and this year, I’m diving into a topic that’s deeply personal to me: ✅ "Empowering Women in Tech & Event Production" This isn’t just another session—it's a call to action for more inclusive and supportive environments in our industries. Your vote can make a huge difference in getting this conversation started. Community input makes up 30% of the final selection, and I’d love to see this session come to life with your help. Cultivate relationships across the org. The most important career conversations happen when you are not in the room. 4. The path to success is not always the easy path. 5. Give yourself grace during challenging times. Brian Rosso Ward Kinney Maria Jose Fowler Mary Wells Anthony Behan Steve Moroski Violet Wittig Ron Wood #womenintech #womenindata
