We appreciate your kind words and support, Lori!
In honor of #WomensHistoryMonth, we'd like to highlight a true female pioneer in the nonprofit sector of America - Isabella Marshall Graham. After leaving her home in Scotland to settle in New York City, Isabella led a group of women to found the Society for the Relief of Poor Widows with Small Children in 1797. The organization provided support to hundreds of needy widows. She then went on to become president of the board for the Magdalene House of the Magdalene Society, and also founded the the Society for the Promotion of Industry Among the Poor. Thank you, Isabella, for your contributions to philanthropy in America! #wcw #womeninnonprofithistory #nonprofit #philanthropy #womenshistory
