Once when I was starting out as a teacher - someone told me 'you don't need a title to be a leader' this is a message I have held on to, and am now very proud to champion through all our work at E-ACT Learning. 💃 This year our Women in Leadership conference focus is on 'leaders at every level', thinking about how to empower women to think of themselves as leaders whether they are in 'leadership' or not. Ambition Institute's CEO Hilary Spencer is speaking about how we can encourage women to see themselves as leaders at every level of an organisation, and Keziah Featherstone FCCT from WomenEd talking about what the barriers in the sector to this may be. Followed by practical workshops by Julie Liddell, panel conversations and table sessions where you can network and focus on the areas which are most important to you. Open to ALL women in working in education - in the classroom...or not! Come and join us on the 12th March! https://lnkd.in/er2pqpaV
The importance of influential leadership is at least equal to, if not greater than, positional leadership, in my humble opinion and I have seen and benefited from it in every organisation I have worked and learned in. Sounds like a great conference with a much needed message. Good luck.
You speak to my heart . Everyone leads.
Looking forward to it Kay Shepherd ❤️
