🇺🇸 Happy Independence Day! As we celebrate our nation's freedom, it's crucial to remember what makes America great: 👉Our Constitution👈 Our Constitution is not up for debate. It's the foundation of our nation. If we allow it to be undermined, we risk losing our identity and our freedoms. Freedom of speech, the right to bear arms, and individual liberties... These are not outdated concepts. They're the pillars of our democracy. I will always stand up for what our founders built... And Reject the radical agendas trying to rewrite our history. We must protect our Constitution, our rights, and our future. This Independence Day... Let's remember to take a stand. Be unapologetically proud of our heritage. Defend our Constitution with everything you've got. Our nation's future depends on it.

As we gather today to celebrate the birth of our nation, we should take a moment to reflect on the values and principles that have shaped the United States of America. July 4th is a time to remember the bravery, vision, and dedication of those who fought for our freedom and laid the foundation for a nation built on liberty and justice for all. However, as we honor our history, it's crucial to recognize the challenges we face in upholding these ideals. In recent times, it seems we are straying from our moral compass. The media, once a pillar of truth, often manipulates our perceptions, blinding us to the realities around us. We find ourselves bombarded with misinformation and divisive narratives, which threaten the very fabric of our society. We must ask ourselves: Are we standing up for what is right, or are we justifying actions that contradict our values for personal gain? It is imperative that we confront and oppose evil, wherever it may arise. This Independence Day, let us pledge to seek truth, promote justice, and protect the freedoms for which so many have sacrificed. Our strength as a nation lies not in the power we wield, but in our unwavering commitment to the principles of equality, integrity, and compassion. Let's come together to reaffirm our dedication to these values and work towards a future where truth prevails, and justice is served. Happy Independence Day! May we continue to strive for a better, more united America.

Hi LinkedIn! I hope everyone had a great 4th of July weekend! If you're a history buff, you'll find this interesting... Harford County, where I'm from in Maryland penned our country's first Declaration of Independence known as the Bush Declaration. This was in March 1775, to document their support of Boston and opposition to British control. The Bush Declaration contributed to the format and premise of the well-known United States Declaration of Independence that we celebrate every July 4th. Freedom is never quite free, as noted by the ending statement of the declaration, "At the risque of our lives and fortunes." More can be found here: https://lnkd.in/eavnmegs

I’d also like to to thank all of the brave people who gave their lives to obtain and keep our independence for the last 248 years. Original Declaration (link below to read all of it): WHEN in the Course of human Events, it becomes necessary for one People to dissolve the Political Bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the Powers of the Earth, the separate and equal Station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent Respect to the Opinions of Mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the Separation. We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness—-That to secure these Rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just Powers from the Consent of the Governed, that whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these Ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its Foundation on such Principles, and organizing its Powers in such Form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. The History of the present King of Great-Britain is a History of repeated Injuries and Usurpations, all having in direct Object the Establishment of an absolute Tyranny over these States. To prove this, let Facts be submitted to a candid World. He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public Good. He has forbidden his Governors to pass Laws of immediate and pressing Importance, unless suspended in their Operation till his Assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them. He has refused to pass other Laws for the Accommodation of large Districts of People, unless those People would relinquish the Right of Representation in the Legislature, a Right inestimable to them, and formidable to Tyrants only. While addressing such problems is essential, it’s equally vital to ensure that discussions remain constructive and focused on freedom and open dialogue.

As we celebrate Independence Day, we are reminded that, while still far from perfect, our country has always evolved to meet the needs of an ever-changing world. We have an opportunity to continue this evolution and work together to build a thriving, resilient, pro-equity democracy that effectively meets the needs of a politically, racially, and religiously diverse America.
