What’s possible when you finally recover your time and energy? Deal with the self-doubt that can hold you back? Handle the unconscious biases you may face on a day to day basis in your workplace? Getting those fundamentals in place is a necessary first step, as they were for a client of mine. Only then could we focus in on her real passion: To develop her thought leadership, extend her career network beyond her company and build her personal brand. We clarified her vision and values, and tapped into her Zone of Genius. From her vision, we needed to define and get really clear on the scope of her thought leadership. With that clarity, she could begin to develop and grow her niche. That, in turn, enabled her to identify the people she needed to connect with outside her organisation. People aligned with her vision, values and thought leadership niche. She now holds a global role in her company and has taken on board and non-executive director roles outside her company. If you’re excited to make a bigger impact by developing your thought leadership and personal brand, why not book a call with me to explore what’s possible for you? Link under my profile above.

Reflecting on my recent one-on-one session with Lori (Goldenhersh) Ryan, Senior Director of Client Leadership at Mars United Commerce, I wanted to share five standout pieces of advice that deeply resonated with me. Her insights and experience provided invaluable guidance that I believe will benefit everyone. Here are my top five takeaways from our conversation: 𝟭. Treat everyone with equal respect, regardless of their position or status. 𝟮. Take full responsibility for your work. People respect those who own their mistakes and don’t shift blame onto others. 𝟯. When you make a mistake, view it as a learning opportunity and move forward. Mistakes are essential for growth and improvement. 𝟰. Be a reliable and dependable person- always be someone others can count on. 𝟱. Remember, time is money. Use it wisely and efficiently to maximize productivity.

Sales Operations Leader & Decision Coach | I partner with leaders to create clarity, overcome indecision, and drive growth.
Decision “making” isn’t your problem You’re likely just fine at doing that. This Thursday I’m hosting a webinar where I’ll share what’s actually going on when you are struggling to decide. As I did for a client of mine. He was struggling to decide whether to leave his job, due to some disagreements with the senior leadership team. Two things we quickly identified to help us uncover what was really happening, and why this was so difficult. 1 - What personal values, specifically, were causing the disagreements, and how important were those to the big vision of who he wanted to be. 2 - What other options existed, outside of the binary Yes-or-No decision of whether to leave. What we achieved. 1 - Clarity about closely-held values and how to live those out. 2 - Guidelines and boundary conditions for deciding when, if, and how to consider leaving the job. More clarity Less anxiety. Ready to act. I help people become masters of decisive action. Link to Thursday's webinar in the comments below.

This was shared by one of my company's 8 locations' leaders and I decided to share it as it is insightful and beautiful! Thank you sir! :) Go BEYOND Look beyond what angers you and you’ll see what teaches you. Move on beyond what saddens you and you’ll encounter things that bring you joy. Venture out beyond what irritates you and you’ll enter into situations that empower you. Learn to see past what frustrates you and begin to uncover what drives you. Beyond what worries you is the realm of what inspires you. Go beyond what frightens you and you’ll engage in experiences that strengthen you. Seeing the good in life is a matter of looking beyond the distractions, frustrations and disappointments. Beyond what is superficial, fleeting and negative, you’ll connect with what has substance, what endures, what truly matters. Go beyond your first impression. Look beyond the surface. When it feels that the whole situation is stacked against you, look beyond. Go beyond, and find all the real, positive, enduring value that life has to offer.

In recent times, many of us in the IT world have felt the winds of change blow through our corridors, reshaping the landscape of our workplaces. This wave of organizational transformation and restructuring has touched not just me but many of our colleagues, teammates, and friends too. I’m a staunch believer in the power of change to propel us forward, to innovate, and to break new ground. Yet, it’s not just the change itself that matters, but how we navigate it. The real test of our collective character and leadership lies in treating every individual affected with the utmost dignity and respect. It’s about minimizing the impact on people and acknowledging the contributions of everyone involved. To those among us who are feeling the brunt of these changes, I want to send a heartfelt message: Your skills and dedication are deeply appreciated, not just for the technical prowess you bring to the table but for the unique, irreplaceable spirit you embody. This moment is just a brief pause in your journey, not the sum of who you are. Hold your head high, continue to be the remarkable individual that you are, and remember, your true value goes far beyond any single role or project. And if there are organizations out there looking for passionate, talented individuals in the IT sector—people skilled in turning challenges into opportunities, in software development, network management, or any other IT-related field—let’s talk. I will be ready to bring my magic to your teams and your organization. “Let me bring my magic to you”

To differentiate yourself from the crowd, ask yourself: “Where do I want to get to?” And then don’t just do your job. Like a dad, for example. They raised the kid, gave them food, gave them a bed to sleep in, helped them with school. They did a great job as a dad, right? No, they didn’t do a great job. They just did their job. That’s what they’re supposed to as a dad. So then how do they be a great parent? Or a better question: How do you be a great team member? Great team members got to where they are because they assumed the role before they were in the role. To the point where, when the time came to choose that next position, everyone was just like, well, she’s already doing it, and she didn’t even ask to. So she deserves the role because she’s already doing it. Just project yourself into the future. What role do you want to be in a year from today? Make that happen tomorrow. Why wait?
