On this International Women's Day, we stand united to recognize and honor the incredible contributions of women worldwide. At Wonderful Sales, we take great pride in fostering an inclusive and empowering environment for our talented women professionals. Over a decade ago, a women's resource group called The Women of Wonderful Sales was launched by Vice President of Sales, Kat Hultstrand. Since its inception, we have hosted sessions to develop skill sets, discussed important issues, celebrated promotions, and made it a point to stay connected. We recently sat down and spoke with Kat about what it's been like to lead this group for Wonderful Sales. Here's what she had to say: "As women leaders, our mission should be to educate, empower, and uplift the women around us. Being in a leadership position provides us with a microphone and the ability to amplify the needs of our women colleagues. However, we need to be humble enough to research what those “needs” truly are. My belief is empowered women, empower others, and I am so grateful that I have been able to fuel this passion through Women of Wonderful." Thank you, Kat, and Wonderful Sales for fostering this space for inclusion and belonging, and cheers to the incredible women at Wonderful Sales and beyond! #InternationalWomensDay #IWD2024 #Inclusion #Empowerment #WomenInBusiness #ERG #Equality #ChangeMakers

Award-winning Founder/Managing Director of MedScan3D, Winner; Galway Chambers Innovation Award, Network Galway STEM Professional, Finalist's: Irish Times Innovation, MedTech Innovation, TCT Healthcare Awards.
I am proud to have been featured in yesterday's Galway Advertiser's Women in Business segment for International Women's Day! This article is a great opportunity to highlight the importance of women in leadership roles. Did you know that globally, only 32% of leadership positions are held by women? It's time to start a conversation on why gender disparities exist in the workplace, especially in leadership roles, and what companies can do to be more inclusive. To attract and retain more women leaders, companies must ensure there are adequate workplace policies, processes, and support in place, as well as excellent benefits and a strong commitment to inclusion. It's crucial that all women in leadership roles use their position to be seen, so the next woman coming up knows they can reach the same heights. Let's make sure that #IWD2024 is a celebration of all women in business, and a catalyst for change towards a more equitable and inclusive workplace for all. #IWD2024 #leadership #equality

As we honor the achievements and contributions of women across the world today, I would like to amplify #IWD2024’s theme to #InspireInclusion. I believe that when we create a sense of belonging, relevance and empowerment for women, and other minorities, whether it’s at our work locations or in the larger eco-system - we will all benefit. We therefore have a huge responsibility and accountability to create a safe and vibrant space to allow each of us to be our best selves; not only to drive business growth but also create a more inclusive and harmonious society at large. As the CEO of a company employing over 25,000 people across 50 countries, I and all the senior leaders in the company know that we have a big role to play in #beingthechange. But we are also acutely aware that today’s leaders need a new toolbox - to listen, to bring in under-represented voices and to create an inclusive culture where our differences are valued & celebrated. I am committed to inspire inclusion across ofi, and will hold myself and my leadership team accountable for making it real. I urge each of you to join in this journey and make sure you ask (push!) yourself – How can I #inspireinclusion?

I recently made a big career change to start a new career in executive recruiting. The reason I made this change is that I live the idea of working to match amazing talent with important missions. To strengthen the abilities of critically needed organizations and initiatives to succeed because they have the right talent. The organizations we work with are the very organizations working worldwide to empower women and girls, fight for human rights, and achieve a more equitable and inclusive world. Working at the intersection of talent and mission also provides a unique opportunity to support women as they move along their career paths and help to contribute to diversity, equity and inclusion in hiring for key roles in the social impact space. I chose DRiWaterstone Human Capital: Experts in Nonprofit and Social Impact Executive Search because we have always and still work exclusively with purpose driven organizations and we are women founded and run. It’s been a wild ride starting something new after over 30+ years on a particular career path, but so far it’s been well with it! I hope I will be able to play my own, however small, part in advancing the causes that mean the most to women and girls and therefore society at large. #internationalwomensday2024 #iwd2024 #talent #sdgs #equity #dei #socialimpact #socialimapactjobs #womensrights #womenandgirls #inclusion #inspiringinclusion
This International Women’s Day, we’re celebrating all of the incredible women from within our network who are making a difference in the world, championing women, and inspiring inclusion. We’re honored to work with some truly amazing women – our wonderful team members, a roster of purpose and mission-driven candidates, and our valued clients who are giving women a voice and inspiring inclusion as they build their organizations and drive their missions forward. To help recognize this important day, we asked DRiWaterstone’s two founders, Jennifer Dunlap and Nancy K. Racette, and our two senior consultants, BJ Davis, MSW and Courtney Bickert to tell us how they inspire inclusion and what advice they’d give to women who are aspiring business leaders. Where have you been, what have you been doing - how has it impacted your LIFE| Emotional Intelligence Coach | 2X Author | CEO of Rollins Consulting Services | Speaker | Board Member | Corporate Trainer
Storytime: Get Out of Your Seat!! 👟 👟 👟 Imagine me running to the elevator and rushing it along to the 4th floor. Breezing down the corridor, so I could peek over the banister to see if anyone was still in the room without being noticed since the #internationalwomensday event had ended. A pivot from listening and chiming in virtually from the first floor #multitasking I decided in a bold last-minute unction to quickly go say 👋🏽 To whom? Well, I was not sure just yet. Most of the crowd had dispersed so I didn't get to see familiar #tech, #engineering or #training faces but I went down anyway to meet the unfamiliar smiles at the bottom of the steps. #networking I asked a woman if she was the producer by name and of course I called her the wrong name; she was not. We found out however, that our individual teams collaborate often. She flags down the producer and we introduce ourselves, and with the biggest smile she says, "you're Shareda" l have been meaning to email you. I want you to meet a few people -- her smile transferred like pure joy, and it did my 💓 good. ----------This actually happened 2x) ------------ Why do I share this story ❓ Shanna discusses below the importance in feeling seen, heard and valued. When the producer and I discussed her observation of work I performed, I felt just that - seen. ** You never know who's 👀 🗣 Had I stayed in my seat, I would not have experienced the value of this verbal expression. Emails are important for capturing value but just don't hit the same as a conversation. *do both 💡 I wish this experience for all of my colleagues and more. 💡 Women no matter their intersections deserve to experience value. 💡 Deserve to be promoted, to be fairly compensated and to work in safety. 🎯 I wish this for them. 🎯 I wish this for me. 🎯 I wish this for us. 🎯 I wish this for YOU! #emotionalintelligence #womenintechnology #womenempoweringwomen #collaboration #coaching #leadership #inclusion #OWL #networking #triumph #ABLE #Oracle

In honor of International Women's Day 2024, I had the privilege to kickoff the Oracle Women's Leadership #KansasCity event. It was an incredible experience to be surrounded by such an inspiring group, including Autumn Black, Kimberly J. Carlson, MPH, Vina Wiredja, MBA, Kim Richardson, Allyson Braggs, Sima Geraghty, MSML, MBAHM, Ashley Grogan, MBA, Cassandra Laible, and many other women and inclusion allies! Inclusion is not a solo destination. It is a journey that we must go on together. Every step forward is inspired by creating a space where differences are celebrated and everyone feels seen, heard, and valued. Thank you to everyone who made this event possible, and to all the women who continue to inspire and lead the way towards a more inclusive future. #iwd2024 #OWL #culture #inclusion #inspireinclusion #womenempowerment #leaders #optimism #inspiration
