I'm Leading Top Electrical Talent To Live Meaningful Lives | Matching Talent To Hand-Picked Clients | #BuildingDreamTeams #electricalheadhunter #constructionheadhunter
You can do everything right and still not get the job. — The company didn’t have enough budget to pay for your value. — The company had to close the position without filling it. — The hiring manager had already found the “right fit.” — The opening was filled by internal talent. It’s not always your fault. But it could be if you don’t do this after the interview… When you’ve made it to the interview: Everyone involved in the hiring process has observed you and made a mental note. That’s your green signal to start over. Use their familiarity to your advantage. – Stay in touch with the recruiter and the hiring manager. – Connect and engage with them on LinkedIn. – Talk about your current project with them. – Post the success of the project. – Show them your passion. Now, whenever they have a new opening, you know who their first choice will be. Rejection closes the door, but temporarily. The next time you knock, you’re not a stranger. Ensure you take the steps to create a new opportunity. #ElectricalConstruction #ConstructionRecruiter #ConstructionJobs #Hiring

Connecting Building Services Engineers with the best career opportunities Australia has to offer⭐️Australia’s most recommended Building Services Recruiter⭐️300+ recommendations📱0407719874 📧 jack@connexusrecruitment.com
What is one of the first things our client look for when reviewing a candidates CV? Good tenure. You could have all the experience under the sun, but if you have moved company every year or two, on a regular basis this can be a huge red flag to hiring managers. After all, often, that’s not even the length of a project. Hiring managers look for committed engineers who can demonstrate that they not just designed projects, but also seen them through to construction and handover, and managed the complexities that come with it. They look for candidates that can grow within the business, and add value over the long term. Almost everyone has an outlier. A role which hasn’t been right for them, a redundancy, or a better opportunity that came up that caused you to jump ship shortly into a new role. This is fine. However, do not make this a regular occurrence.

What are the best and worst days of a week to apply for a Job? Studies show that Tuesday is the day most people apply to jobs, but is it the best day? Although many sites claim that Tuesday is the best time to apply, recent studies have denied that fact. According to LAsalesrecruiter.com, Tuesday has the most application traffic, where almost 37% of job seekers applying that day. However, it is not the most fruitful day, with barely a 20% success rate. So, What day is the best? A successful day is the one that will help you go through with the application process (the interview step). Accordingly, the most successful day is Monday. Though most people hate that day, it is actually the most productive day of the week. HR managers are freshly ready to view their huge pile of CVs and start off their work right. As the days go on, resumes can pile up and yours might get lost among many others on a recruiter’s portfolio. Applying on Monday gives you a 10% higher chance of landing an interview. LAsalesrecruiter.com ‘s study showed that 30% of candidates who applied on Monday had a prosperous hiring process. Almost one out of three people were actually successful in moving forward. Therefore, next time you’re planning to apply, make sure to boost your effort on Monday, and have your CV ready and updated. But, What is the worst day? It is Saturday. Only 5% of people choose to apply to jobs on Saturdays. Studies show that candidates have a 14% success rate on that day, hence it is not preferable. Tip: It is advised to apply early in the morning (before noon) to get a higher chance of getting your resume noticed by HR Managers. Submit resume and salary request to info@skilledtradestaffing.com. E-Commerce Manager | Helping Brands Boost Revenue on Shopify, Etsy, eBay, and Amazon with Proven Listing Optimization Techniques | Social Media Marketer | Customer Support | Your One-Stop Solution to E-Commerce Success
Is it really enough to cover the cost of experience and expertise? 🤔 Recently, I received a message from a recruiter offering me $3 per hour for my skills and experience. 😳 While I'm grateful to finally be getting the attention of recruiters, this offer was shockingly low. Let me share a bit of my story. I've spent years honing my skills in social media management, digital marketing, and administration. From working on diverse projects to continuously updating my knowledge with courses, the latest trends and tools. I've invested a lot of time and effort into building a strong and versatile skill set. This journey has not been easy, but it has been incredibly rewarding, allowing me to deliver high-quality work and achieve significant results for my clients. In a time where the cost of living is rising and inflation is impacting everyone, such offers are not just impractical but also disrespectful. They undermine the hard work and dedication that professionals like myself put into our careers. Fair compensation is not just a financial necessity; it's a sign of respect and acknowledgment of the value we provide. So, to all recruiters and hiring managers out there, please take note. Recognize the expertise and experience of the professionals you seek to hire. Offer fair and reasonable compensation that reflects the true value of their work. It's time to do better.
