Designers: You have until 1/25 to nominate your project(s) for a 2025 Wood in Architecture Award. Start your nomination: woodworks.org/nominate Presented each year, the awards recognize achievements in mass timber, light-frame, and hybrid buildings in the U.S.—celebrating innovative wood design that positively impacts building occupants, their communities, and the environment. Awards will be presented at the AIA Conference on Architecture & Design in Boston, MA in June 2025. FAQs Q: Does the project need to be fully completed (not in construction) before being nominated? A: Projects must be entirely constructed (by 1/25/25) to meet the submission requirements but not necessarily occupied. Q: How can my project team collaborate in drafting the submission? A: A PDF of the nomination form is available so you and your team to complete a draft submission. Once you’ve finalized the copy, you can copy/paste from the PDF into the Survey Monkey form to submit your final nomination. The PDF for drafting your submission is here: https://lnkd.in/eWTpgiTP (Note: once a nomination is submitted, Survey Monkey will confirm your submission but will not send a copy of the submission itself.) Q: How many photos can be uploaded? Should we upload pictures of the project at various stages? A: We recommend ~15 images. Submit any images that will help the jury understand the story of your project and encourage the most discussion. This includes drawings, construction progress, and the finished project. If you have additional questions or need help with your nomination, contact us at info@woodworks.org.
