Latest demo from Theneo 👀
Last month, we had the pleasure of demoing Theneo at the AI Dev Tools Event at GitHub. It was incredible to connect with such a vibrant engineering community, and we want to extend our gratitude to everyone who followed up, shared feedback, and commented. Check out this quick video of our demo, along with a sneak peek at our latest editor.

Week 7 of Dev Mountain Complete! In week 7 we learned about pseudo-code and algorithmic thinking, Big-O time/space complexities, data structures, computer science history and how computer memory works. Very interesting topics this week, I really liked learning about Big-O time and space complexities. Im excited for week 8 where we will be working on our capstone projects and portfolios!

RT @VivFaga Founders, it’s ok to roll your eyes when a VC asks “what’s your technical moat?” My take: technical moats no longer exist in software. It used to be that you could launch a product with a technically capable team and enjoy a two to three-year advantage. But now… there are better engineers than ever before, more platforms that can even the playing field, and AI that is helping everyone build quality software, fast. A differentiated product and 10x team matters, but your competitor might have these as well. The moats that make a difference now: - Your shipping velocity - Your network effects - Your GTM motion - Your community - Your brand - Your story - Your data - Your ROI - Your customer love - Your positioning. How are you different? What other moats have you seen in this era of more technical parity?

Really enjoyed hosting my latest CTO networking lunch yesterday. I run these in small intimate groups of 4 or 5 so we share one conversation and really dig into challenges, trends, insights and enjoy a nice meal together. 3 insights from yesterday's conversation..... 👩💻 Software Engineers need to really focus on the fundamental principles of building software. Especially with the increase in the use of tools like co-pilot. This is particularly true for grads who can use tools without understanding what they are doing for them. ✅ Coding tests at interview stage are less useful than ever. The focus should be on problem solving and genuinely understanding the problem and process to follow. 🤡 Even with AI image generation tools, its still hard to create an image of a clown riding a space rocket. Thanks for coming along Mark Langan, David Tunney, Niall Gormley and David Bowman.

I loooove when we get to work on SaaS products from different/non-tech niches. Get to learn so much! We recently worked on the new site for Sphinx Bio, a platform that helps scientists (!!) speed up data analysis and get to experimental results without hellish coding. Hyped to contribute just a little bit to a platform with the potential to improve the world! Here’s how it went:
