Football Development Institute has helped organise internships for people coming from more than 20 countries around the world. Today, we would like to focus on the latest information, regarding the internship for Coaches at FC Utrecht. ▶️ 𝐅𝐂 𝐔𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐭 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐲 | 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬 FC Utrecht has one of the best Dutch academies, distinguished by its professionalism, its own methodology and the planned development of teams and players. Thanks to the cooperation on the line between FDI and FC Utrecht, we can offer very interesting educational internships with an exceptional content programme. This time we offer a trip to Coaches who want to spend a week marked by knowledge, experience and also the exchange of ideas. 🔰 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐞 | 02-06.04 🔰 𝐀𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚 | 🔹 more than 10 content-related presentations 𝐓𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐬: Club/Academy | training system | methodology (entire training pyramid) | analysis | conditioning & strength | mental health | nutrition | player care | tracking system | scouting & Talent ID | partner Clubs 🔹 discussions | workshops 🔹 observation ot training sessions of the Academy teams 🔹 possibility to consult coaching staff (training analysis) 🔹 observation of league games of the Academy teams 🔹 visit to a league game of the first team (Eredivisie) | FC Utrecht – PEC Zwolle 🔹 stadium tour We have the last places left, so make sure you submit your application (information in the comments). 💬 Marcin Gabor (𝐂𝐄𝐎 & 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭 𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐃𝐈): - A few years ago I had the opportunity to visit the FC Utrecht Academy. Thanks to the kind hospitality of Robin Pronk, the Academy Director, I was able to watch the professional, structured work up close and listen to the development plans. Last year we also had the privilege of hosting Director Pronk at the first Football Club Management Conference, where we talked about different areas of Club or Academy management, team and player development. All these positive experiences made me keen to start FDI's cooperation specifically with the FC Utrecht Academy. One of the reasons is to create opportunities for people interested in observing and learning in a professional environment. After the scouting internship, the time has come for the internship for Coaches. We have organised a great many internships all over Europe, but the substantive programme at FC Utrecht Academy is the most extensive we have encountered so far. Big class, big openness and high quality. 💬 Robin Pronk (𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐲 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 | 𝐅𝐂 𝐔𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐭): - After last year's successful program for Scouts from different countries, the FC Utrecht Academy would like to open its doors to Coaches. We believe in the importance of sharing information and knowledge about the development of children and especially talented football players. FDI uses the same philosophy and together we have put a interesting and educational program to develop Coaches.

Sophomore Sport Management Major at Isenberg School Of Management, University of Massachusetts Amherst
As I continue my sophomore year as a sport management major at University of Massachusetts Amherst Isenberg School of Management, I would like to look back at a personal achievement from last year. I was able to obtain the Isenberg Advanced Excel User Badge in my Operations and Information Management class! As a student looking for an opportunity into the sports industry through an internship, I am constantly looking for ways to improve my skills and become more versatile as I prepare for a life in sports. Becoming proficient in Microsoft Excel allowed me to add a new tool to my arsenal, and this experience will be helpful when I am asked to apply this knowledge into real-world situations. #SportManagement #Isenberg #UmassAmherst

Gaining experience at grassroots/non-league level is a fantastic way to boost your CV & become more employable. You can go to a handful of clubs ( non-league, women's, academy) and offer your services to them. You could offer to create content for their social channels. You could offer to help the physiotherapist with massages at training if you are a sports therapist. You could offer to help the kitman. You could offer your services as a player-care officer & create them a tailored player-care program. Whatever your subject area is, have a think about how you could give value to a club. Clubs lower down the pyramid have a lack of resources & would love some help. You gain experience from this & can bolster your CV. Do not wait for internships to find you, they wont. Create your own luck. WorkInFootball.net #WorkInFootball

The second strategy that makes me optimistic about Otterbein’s future is our efforts to give every student real experiential learning. Every campus has a variety of options for experiential learning: sports, choirs, study abroad, internships, etc. But how many ensure every student applies what they learn to the world? Otterbein has used a grassroots funding model (the innovation fund) to generate ideas that will attract and retain students. If our main competitors are big public universities, we figure we can best them with such experiences. “Go to Big State U and watch . . . or come to Otterbein and do.” So, we’ve launched women’s wrestling, an esports team, and new staff to expand opportunities from the equine team to the marching band. We have also challenged ourselves to develop a career preparation program for every student. It is called Otterbein READY. New students will get a mentor and academic and career map. You have goals; we’ll show you how to get there. Sophomores will focus on a vocation conference. Regular classes will be canceled as we learn about career fields from alumni, do mock interviews, and even learn how to introduce yourself to strangers at a (mock) cocktail party. Juniors must have a major application of their learning, from an internship to study aboard. And Seniors will have an “Adulting 101” curriculum, from media literacy to how health insurance works. This sells. Students and their families have goals. Otterbein can be the place that gives students the breadth of the liberal arts along with the skills to apply it to their life and career goals. #HigherEducation #Otterbein #CoalitionForTheCommonGood

Career Coach✔ Basketball Skill Enhancement Trainer✔ Entrepreneur✔ Management Professional✔ Dribble Pad Creator/Inventor✔ Motivational Speaker
As students step into my office the basketball decor makes it clear that I’m a die-hard fan of the sport. But this passion for hoops isn’t just a personal hobby, it’s a mindset that I bring to the job every day. Like in basketball, I believe one of the keys to success is all about taking that crucial shot. Whether it’s applying for a dream job or acquiring an internship opportunity, I encourage the students I work with to embrace the “shoot your shot” mentality. After all, someone is going to get that position - why not you? #askcoachken #careercoach #shootyourshot #motivation #keepdreaming #whynotyou #careercoaching #hooplove
